Thinkway just updated their website and added a section for Toy Story That Time Forgot. Clicking the tab, however, just leads to the Youtube frontpage. No update on the TSC though…

I sure hope it’s a standard movie accurate and in-scale Trixie if they do release her. Sure would be nice to add the missing piece from Bonnie’s collection.

I e-mailed Thinkway about the toys. Now I’m hoping for a reply soon…

Edit: No reply yet but they seem to have moved the Cars Neon line up to the “Our Toys” section. On a more related note, The TSTTF toy line has been pushed all the way back to December. Even though it makes sense to come out around the special, I still hope they at least show prototypes.

My previous email just asked when will the TSTTF toys will be coming out and if they will release figures from Toy Story of Terror. Here is their reply:

[i]Thank you for your inquiry. We currently do not have any plans to add characters from the Toy Story special “Toy Story of Terror” to our collection.

“Toy Story That Time Forgot” toys are coming in December 2014, please check our website at a later date for updates.

If this wasn’t confirmed already for anyone, this definitely confirms it. It’s unfortunate that they won’t make figures for Combat Carl or the Pocketeer from the previous special. And now, we wait for the prototypes…

Thinkway is notorious for lying. But I do agree that Toy Story of Terror Toys aren’t happening…at least not yet and not by Thinkway.

I’m trying to figure out how they could possibly release toys from TSTTF and not have Trixie…

I mean, its about the dinosaurs…

My guess for the release would be:

  1. re release of TSC rex
  2. Trixie
  3. Reptilius Mazmimus
  4. 1-2 other battle saurs

right?

I guess its fesible that they go “hawaain vacation” on us again and have stupid versions of Woody, Buzz, and Jessie. But it seems unlikely after those sold so poorly…right?

Your list seems pretty likely for the main characters for the special,Slink.

Note: This is the Mattel toyline. I just needed Woody, Buzz, and Rex for reference.

It was already confirmed that Jessie doesn’t have a major role in the special but Woody, Buzz, and Rex are going to be outfitted in gladiator armor. This means that we will receive “Gladiator Woody and Buzz” toys incorporated into the line. The re-release of TSC Rex might be wishful thinking at this point since they might opt to go with the “Gladiator Rex” look.

I for one am hoping for the Cleric and his acolytes

Based on that image I foresee us all being disappointed. I think we’ll see short-based versions of the characters since these are not in the “Toy Story Collection” line so they will probably be small child playable versions. I hope they prove me wrong and have a TSC Trixie version but highly doubt it now.

^ I noticed I failed to point out that the above image is Mattel’s Toy Story of Terror toyline. The Mattel line is not to scale to begin with. I used the image to highlight the Gladiator Woody, Rex, and Buzz we might see in the toyline.

They will surely do Gladiator Woody and Gladiator Buzz. I will not buy either of those. Then well be lucky to even get one battle saur prolly Reptillus Maximus.

I don’t think they’ll release any 'small" figures tho, thats not what thinkway does generally. Mattel does that. Only non screen accurate Toy Story Item of note is the smaller rex, and I’d still be happy with a trixie in that scale.

We can hope that disneystore releases a trixie maybe, like they did for rex with partysaurus rex?

What!? Thinkway would never try to release another Buzz just to increase sales. In fact, their new Toy Story line doesn’t even hav-

Anyway, Disney Store is very unpredictable with their releases. Zurg was announced but we didn’t fin out it was from Disney until much later.

A screen accurate Trixie is sorely missed . Thinkway or the disney store, whatever one, a full scale Trixie would be sweet, sweet music to my ears
