So…Did anyone stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night?
But in all seriousness, more Toy Story characters has been sorely overlooked by Thinkway as they only provide us with Woody, Buzz, and Jessie as of recently. But I feel that maybe this new line of “Toy Story: That Time Forgot” might actually satisfy our collecting needs. But only time will tell so we have to wait until then.
It’s pretty bewildering that a film that revolves around toys barely gets accurate releases of the other characters. Knowing Thinkway, we might be lucky to come out with Trixie, Reptillus, the Cleric, and the Goliath. I really hope they surprise us with all the Battlesaurs, Trixie, and Angel Kitty.
Going back on topic I think that what most likely would happen is that Thinkway would release another Woody, Buzz, and Rex but they might release Trixie (possibly with removable battle-armour) and Battlesaurs like Reptillius and Golliath
Hi everyone I’m new here. I have a question for you Toy Story Collection experts. I recently bought a used adult collector owned Toy Story Collection Rex. It’s basically has all the same features as it talks and his tail is removable the only difference is his jaw is closed like in the film when he’s in toy-mode. Anyone know why this is?
That is bewildering I don’t know what happened or why the mouth is closed but other Toy Story Collection Rex’s have their mouths partially open.Do you mind explaining more of how and where you got it?
The closed mouth tsc rex is still a mystery to us. It looks to me that a good 30% of them were produced that way. But I dont think we ever got an official reason.
Seems unlikely, wouldnt the safer one be the close mouth version? And yet its the rarer version. Plus they both hit the martket at seemingly same time.
Hi. I’ve been looking on this site for a while but I’ve just made an account. A little while ago, I noticed on eBay a TSC Utility Belt Buzz under the Signature Collection banner. Does anyone know where this was released?
I think the Signature Collection line appeared in 2013 IIRC. The only place that still had Utility Belt Buzz was the UK, mainly Tesco Direct; but they have been sold out of the toys for a while.
Darn. Why is the utility belt Buzz so rare though? I’m guessing it was because people wanted the Buzz from all 3 movies and maybe some people already had the original TSC Buzz (like me) before the Utility Belt Buzz came out. But seriously who’s going to pay 400-500 dollars for one on eBay?
Thinkway answered this a while back, they said utility belt buzz hasnt been discontinued, its just that these toys are made to order for retailers, and retailers just arent ordering more. They probably dont move merchandise enough to bother.
Thanks Kyle. A couple weeks ago at my local Walmart, they were trying to sell their old toys that they had. They put out some TS3 toys including the 12 inch Karate Chop Buzz. I didn’t get it though. I was hoping they would put the Belt Buzz out but I don’t think they did. I’m wondering though: should I ask them if they have some in the back still or should I wait a little? The Karate Buzz’s were gone the last time I went so I’m not sure if someone either bought them both or Walmart put them back.
Thanks TheSpaceSheriff. Btw, if I didn’t mention this already, I’ve known about this site for a few years now, maybe since 2010. I never looked at it too often and didn’t make an account for it until recently. I remember when this site was popular and both this and the Replicas thread was really popular. It’s sad to see that this site is pretty much dead.
Anyways does anyone think that Thinkway (pun intended) would put out the TSSC Rex the same time as the TSTTF toys? It seems likely since they’re making dinosaur toys so they should bring back Rex. They hopefully will make a Trixie so why not Rex?
I just saw your post that you got a TSC Rex. Where and how did you get it? I still need one and have been looking for one forever. I found one on eBay about a year ago that was brand new in the box but someone outbid us.
