Does anyone understand why tsc potato head has legs and that picture where he’s next to that Hamm he doesn’t? I think that that one looks more accurate
Hey guys, whats up with the lack of potato head photos…c’mon id like to see some more of my favorite spud…that is if its not a problem, please and thak you !!!
P.Sclassics4life - He Walks!?!?!?
The legs were Hasbro’s doing. It was a safety hazzard, the side to side motion could have pinched kids fingers.
Sucks I know. but should be fixable.
As for the lack of pics/vids, be patient… It wil take up to 6 weeks for them to make it to every state. Very few have gotten them in.
Off topic: anyone else find it weird this forum thinks its the 29th already? I’m on the east coast and its only 10:15. What time zone in this place on, Japanese?
Plus we got to keep in mind that with the Playskool logo, this Toy Story Collection is specifically designed with a younger generation in mind. That’s probably why they ended up connecting the eyes in the end also, to prevent a chocking hazard. I personally plan on buying the Thinkway Non-Collection version and modifying him myself.
I apologize if this has been posted already, but does anybody know if Mr. Potato Head’s feet are going to be removeable? Also, does he have a compartment in his back to store his parts?
I’ve been following this thread for a while, since before I started my own Toy Story collection last winter.
I’m currently eagerly awaiting the arrival of the latest addition to my collection - Rex. I also just got an SLR camera so when he arrives I may post some pics of my full (for the time being) set.
The reason I signed up was to ask if anyone else has ever come across this Hamm I found online? It says he is 20cm long, that must be about to scale, and comparing him to the animated Hamm on the TS website I think he looks pretty accurate (more so than my current Slinky at least!).
I contacted the store to ask the height and the manufacturer to assess how accurate he may be. They didn’t know the height but he is made by a company called Spinmaster. He is only £15 - not too bad… What do you reckon?
Thanks, ITM! Great pictures! I first doubted the old Spud Head for not being movie-accurate enough, but now I really want him! Also, welcome mancub!! I’m not good with lengths and all that, so sorry I don’t know about that Hamm. He LOOKS movie accurate! Lol! Can someone please upload videos of Mr. Potato Head? I want to see him in action without a butt-annoying announcer and a screaming kid. Haha! Also, sorry if this seems a little corny, but would any of you guys mind answering these questions?:
What do you think would be the coolest feature to put on Bullseye? Do you think Woody would be able to stay on him without falling off?
What features do you think would make the Wave 2 Buzz’s Utility Belt be awesome? Do you think the belt will come off?
Any thoughts on Lotso? We now have a description on Amazon.com that includes he has velcro hands, will fall asleep when lied down, and will laugh when you tickle his feet… Do you think there are any advantages to him having velcro on his hands?
Jessie. Do you think she’ll be a full $50? It seems a little iffy being the same price as Toy Story’s star and only having 33 sayings.
Say they were going to make a Prospector. In Toy Story 2, his box says he says 9 sayings. Do you think making him say more in a TSC version would ruin the accuracy?
Is there any accurate Wheezy? If so, can I have a link? I need to have him!!
What TSC so far do you think is th most movie-accurate?
Also, this is an extremely personal complaint, but I like the older TSC logo with the clouds from Andy’s room on it 10 times better than the new white logo. Blech. Alright, thanks guys!! Bye!
Let me be the first to answer some of your questions:
I think that Woody will be able to stay on Bullseye without falling off. Bulseye might have something on his saddle to help Woody (or Jessie) sit up on him. I think the coolest feature to put on Bullseye is to just make him look as accurate as possible, which luckilly he already does!
I think being able to make Buzz’s belt light up would be pretty cool. I have a feeling the belt won’t be removable though .
I think that Lotso looks great, and I can’t wait to buy him! I think having velcro on his hands lets him be able to hug you better
I think Jessie will end up being $49.99, although I am not sure.
There was already a discussion of the sayings on the Prospector’s box. Thinkway will probably make him have a pullstring mode (where he says those 9 sayings), and an Interactive Talking mode, IF they decide to make him, (which I hope they do!)
NachozRule Bullseye has: Over 10 horse sounds & music plus interactive galloping sounds with vibration. (In normal play mode)
And the Bucket O Soldiers are the most accurate toys in the TSC.
