Edit* Now i’m kinda sad i’ve seen this, his angry face is a bit of a spoiler!

yeah the disney store lotso had an angry face too

EDIT: Oops, someone posted about it already.

The Mattel buddy set version too. or are those what you were talking about?
But its hardly a spoiler at this point. Most of the toy versions of him have an angry face. the only that that doesnt is the TSC version, am I right? and you can already see from the clip released that he doesnt see eye to eye with Woody.

I know that chunk is one of the bad guys but I guess seeing his angry face was a spoiler to me because it is pretty intense, and i’m sure the reveal of his face will be done nicely in the movie and now i’ll already know what it looks like :frowning:

I thought we were talking about Lotso…

As for Chunk, his gimick as a toy is that he can change facial expressions. Im not even srure why your assuming he’s a bad guy. Good guys get mad too afterall.

Oh wasn’t he at the poker table with the others I guess I assumed they were all evil at the poker table?

We dont know the context of that scene though. there could be a mix of both sitting at that table.

Very true.

Kyle yeah, the alternative Bullseye looks pretty good (but the TSC one is fantastic). Was there one this accurate for TS2 though? I remember having a stuffed version, that was extremely inaccurate but I always wanted one like this.

yeah I don’t think so. I think I’m thinking of the same one you are, which was very inaccurate.

Until now, its all I’ve had. And standing next to Buzz & Woody on my dresser, he’s rather Puny…(and doesn’t stand up)

I wish they had a TSC deal when TS2 was coming out. That would have been so nice to have an accurate series

Perhaps it’s already been discussed here, but I’m not patient enough to read everything. …

I know that the first TSC Aliens were made in hard plastic. But I saw a box with the new TSC logo (the white one)… Did they make these ones squeezable?

And does anybody know when they’re coming to Brazil? I’ve already had Buzz and Woody here in Brazil, by YellowMercantil. The same thing, box and all, but in portuguese! The only thing I didn’t like was that Buzz doesn’t move his head.
And the legs are sooooooo hard to pose.

No, its a logo change, nothing more.

Hadn’t seen this posted yet:

It’s the Woody’s Roundup Guitar, and they have it listed as in stock for 29.99, which seems a little high to me, but maybe that’s just my opinion. Couldn’t find the Harmonica though.

Stretch and Chunk in plush form. Is there a separate thread for non-TSC merchandise?

There is no seprate thread but ill make it

Any chance of somebody posting pics of these items as the link automatically redirects to the UK site for me!

New member. Big Toy Story fan. Small Toy Story collection so far - just Thinkway’s “Collector’s” Buzz and Woody. But I do hope to add Jessie soon.

I have a few questions that I was hoping others would be able to answer:

  1. Is Mattel’s Ken from Toy Story 3 (based on Mattel’s “Animal Lovin” Ken) only going to be available in a two-pack with TS3 (aka “Great Shape”) Barbie?

Is there any chance Thinkway would be making a Barbie and Ken since Mattel’s efforts aren’t particularly screen accurate (especially when it comes to Ken - the original “Animal Lovin” Ken is closer to a TS3 Ken than the one Mattel has shown)?

  1. Is there any chance we’ll see a “screen-accurate” Mr Potato Head from Thinkway? I’m pretty disappointed by the figure they’ve just released in the US (joined eyes, legs, battery-bum, etc) and the Toy Story “design” seems like it should be pretty easy to replicate in “toy” form. Perhaps a non-Collector’s version from Thinkway could have those extra screen-accurate features?

  2. Is there any chance we’ll see a Rex with an articulated jaw from Thinkway? I almost peed my pants when I saw Thinkway’s “Collector’s” Rex in-store, but I couldn’t believe it didn’t have an articulated jaw (even though it was sculpted to look like it did). Perhaps a non-Collector’s version (no sound effects, but articulated jaw).

Many thanks for any assistance.

  1. Perhaps, although I doubt it. So far, the only licensed toy we’ve seen so far that wasn’t owned by Thinkway was Mr. potato Head. They’re not even going to make Slink, so I don’t see why they would make Ken when Mattel has such a firm grasp on the character.

2&3) Already discussed and the answer is sadly “No”. The Thinkway versions that are currently out are the best you will get, unless you decide to make your own which is what a few people are planning on doing.
