Seriously, though. That’s just awesome. It would be so much more fun to play with Potato Head if he were done correctly. I’m really going to have to figure out how to make some seperated eyes for mine.
Quick question for wampar: If I do attempt to make my own eyes, what color would I use for the eyelids in order to get them to match the rest of Potato Head’s body?
Well, I personally just use ghetto craft paint, the little plastic bottles you get in the craft aisle. There is a brown that is pretty close, but needed to be lightened and warmed a little, so I mixed in a tiny amount of a golden yellow.
Why? your not doing anything to the potato head itself, just making new eyes for him, It doesn’t require messing anything up, just making something from scratch.
I’d definitely be interested. How much would they be? It’d be awesome to get one of those and the separate eyes at the same time. How would he deal with the inserting of the shoes?
Well, I’ve never done any sculpting before and I assumed that I’d have to use my actual TSC Potato Head parts to make molds for the clay pieces. I didn’t want to mess up anything that can’t be fixed. However, if it’s that easy, then I guess it shouldn’t be a big deal.

Play.com has Potato Head with a expected release date of 23rd April also nobody has any idea when the others are being release so it will be a month or two after the US release. Also we have no idea if the UK Disney Stores will even be getting Hamm let alone when they will be released.
Also I think you missed out some words out of your post about the eyes as it makes no sense.
By the way guys loving the custom Potatos! Amazing! So jealous! I don’t even have a standard one
Great job on potato head i used a cutting blade to cut the legs off mine then i cut the peg that s in the shoe and attached that to the potato body but did you try to make one eyed bart yet it would be cool.
my son has a regular Buzz and is constantly pulling off Buzzs helmet. The rear piece is simply held in place by tabs. I can’t say for sure if it’s the same on the tsc version though. I noticed that in TS The rear part of Buzzs helmet is always in place. By TS2 the helmet was fully retracted. Which would be physically impossible. I think it was done for rendering purposes. There’s a lot of reflection going on in the helmet.
