My word, these clips are spectacular! Thanks, lord_zedd. A word of caution: entire action sequences and a few character deaths are in both clips, so you might want to avoid if you donāt want to get spoilerised.
But other than that, the action sequences are very inventive! There seems to be a lot of jumping, slicing, and plenty, plenty of falling, but the pacing is relentless and will hold you on the edge of your seat! And the characterisations, how each puppet has their own personality and body features is justā¦ amazing. Each of them are unique (even the vilains)!
Iām so thrilled; this almost looks like a Japanese or European animated film (not to say anything bad about American animation, but most of it is pretty inane and full of pop-culture references, and rarely is it as unique as this is!). Come on, Australia, release it already!
I saw one of my classmateās issue of 3D World and it had 9 on the cover! Itās so awesome (9 was holding an ink brush), but for some reason, the latest issueās cover on the official site has a different pic. Maybe a subscriberās-special much like they did with Kevin for the Up issueā¦
Iām very pleased that itās rated PG-13. It means the American film industry is finally starting to break the stereotypes that animation is just for kids/family friendly. Bring on the dark and gritty, I say!
New and old is relative, my āRick Astley from the 80sā-sig wearing friend. Besides, nobody has posted this, so Iām sharing it with those who havenāt seen this poster yet. Geez, if it makes you happier, Iāve changed the original sentence to āsemi-newā nowā¦
Is it now? Thatās freakinā awesome; about time they realized ācartoonsā werenāt just for ākidsā.
I just saw the trailer a while ago and I thought āOk, sort of want to see itā, but then I saw a clip that they showed at Comic-Con and, oh, I want to see it now.
I just love the atmosphere and soundtrack, itās so melancholic andā¦ morose! But bewitchingly beautiful at the same time!
And I like 2ās hat!
Thanks, lord_zedd!
One more day! Iām gonna see this tomorrow after school. The only thing that sucks is that school ends at 3:00 and one showing of 9 is at 3:30, and I could make it, but Iād be late, and I donāt wanna miss one second of this movie. So, the next showing after that is at 5:30, so I have to wait two hours.
