Kyle, the AA Barbie in wampar’s pic has a Gymnast Barbie body- an articulated body design that was released in 1975 as part of the Young Sweethearts line- it was later retooled for the Gymnast line, Hot Skating line, Olympic line etc, and is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips and knees. She does Not have jointed wrists or ankles unfortunately. Fashionistas are a bit more poseable than her, but just barely. I prefer the Gymnast body because she still looks good in 1980s and 1990s Barbie clothes. -Omar, who was cracking up at “How low can you go? How low can you go?” ROFL ![]()
I’m having some trouble finding a picture of your collection.
He screwed up the URL.
booh88- thanks for sharing pics of your peas. I finally broke down and ordered myself a set as well nearly a week ago, and seeing your picture makes me even more excited for them to get here.
actionman81- thanks for the info about the Barbies. All I was going to be able to say was that I picked a lot on ebay that had a couple of black Barbies, and a brunette one, but was surprised to find multiple dolls with the articulated arms and legs. The blond Barbie on the slide also has the jointed arms…but not the legs. There were a few more in the lot that were the same, but had weird hair so I couldn’t use them for this.
jordo789- Kyle is right, you messed up the URL some. I THINK this is what you meant to post:
And I think you did a great job on Bookworm. He is cute, and probably closer to actual scale than mine. And your collection looks great! Though Mrs. Potato Head looks a little possessed since you can’t see her pupils. ![]()
Nice collection, jordo789
I’m still waiting on a few things I ordered to get here then I’ll probably have a group
picture up.
Yeah that’s it I don’t know what happened to the link sorry ![]()
and Mrs. Potato Head does look bad but I guess she’ll do for know and I’ve ordered a sculpture thing of stinky Pete, a Big Baby look a like doll who I’ll fix and the Disney store Mr Pricklepants, Dolly and Buttercup so I hope they come soon ![]()
So what’s the official word on the Disney Store Hamm? Will he be back in stock along with the plushes?
Just called my local Disney Store, turns out they have a bunch of all the plushes. I am going to get Peas, Dolly and Pricklepants. Ill post pics tomorrow
jordo789, love your collection. Mrs P looks hypnotized, probably by her “Big strong spud around the house” ![]()
wampar, could I check out the Barbies you weren’t using? -Omar
Hey is anyone else in Australia have trouble finding a Thinkway Chunk, because I can’t him anywhere not even on eBay ![]()
thanks
^^^^
I don’t think the Thinkway Chunk, Sparks and Twitch are available in Australia.
I have seen it on Ebay every now and again, but always too expensive for me.
Darn, because I need him and I had to get Twitch and Sparks from eBay, I’ll just hope he’s on eBay soon
thx

Just got Bonnie’s toys…
Just got Bonnie’s toys…
Yup. The Peas in a pod are definetly my favorite, and I think Dolly is my least favorite. I also decided to get Buttercup in the slim chance I can’t get the Toy Story on Ice one.
How they fit with the rest of the group.
My whole collection. RC and the soldiers are now in a lower tier
Congratulations on getting Bonnie’s Toys, They fit in great, So far I only have the Peas, & Why do you have 2 of the same Buzzes.
hey guys, does anyone know anything about this Bo Peep?
Photo’s not mine. It was found here: flickr.com/photos/53233790@N06/4994101747/
When was she produced, and who’s the manufacturer? I often see her on eBay, but never NFRB. And there’s no info on her.
I don’t like her much and wouldn’t buy - I’m just curious. Her dress seems to be rather inaccurate, her bonnet is moulded and her face is not that pretty. She’s got some strange moulded sandals instead of her black shoes on her feet.
Even the classic Thinkway pne is way better, but I myself like 2000 Mattell version.

Yes, that is the Bo Peep that is sold at Toy Story on Ice. You can byuy her if you go to that show. She comes with a shepherdess crook, but no sheep unfortunatley. I would rather have thinkways version too. I just really hope she is in Wave 3 of the TSC!
Thank you. At least now it’s clear. She goes on ebay for 60-90$. And she appears to have black shoes on some pics.
And I’m thinking of getting Toy Story 2 mattell version.
My tallest Troika is five inches tall.
My Mr. Pricklepants is the Disney Store one, but I did some heavy modification. With a seam ripper I removed all of the embroidery on his face and leiderhosen. I also removed the fur from his head because I hated it. I sewed on new fur, overstuffed his body, and gave him brass buckles and buttons, and beaded eyes. I ended up pretty happy with him,
And I forgot when I was taking the Barbie picture. The whole reason I wanted to get the Barbies and the pool was to take this picture:
“How low can you go? How low can you go?”
What kind of fur did you use to replace Mr. pricklepants hair?..i really wish I had your talent.
