Well, for the moment this is my stand in. It is an Imaginext triceratops thats I gave a paint job. It is probably half the size she should be…but the goal has been to keep this as a place holder until Toy Fair. I figured at Toy Fair we would either have proof of an in scale Trixie, or there would be no proof, and I will sculpt myself one sometime this summer. I realize things aren’t looking good for a Thinkway release at this point, but I remain hopeful.
Anyway, this is a photo of the before, after, and a shot of her with my peas to show scale.
I have seen that one, but I ruled against it because it is only slightly larger than this one, but the sculpt has too much personality to easily switch it over to Trixie. The one I used is a more generic sculpt, so it is a little easier to try and change its personality. Either way this has only been intended to be a filler anyway.
EDIT: On second look it is much larger than the one I have. But still a sculpt with too much personality. Might be a good body to sculpt a new head for. Hmmm.
wow wampar it seems like everything you touch turns to gold that trixie looks great shame it couldnt be in scale but looks amazing hopefully thinkway releases one or atleast a cheap in scale one like they did with lotso’s gang cause they came out great
I actually already have the materials for Chuckles purchased…and he was originally next on my list. But “YourFavoriteDeputy”'s version of Perry got me very excited about the Sunnyside gang I had been thinking about, and I decided to complete the Sunnyside stuff first, then come back around to Chuckles as a grand finale. Not to mention I have not been real keen on sculpting his shoes, so I have been scouring the internet in search of either clown doll shoes, or infant shoes that have a similar look to what I want his shoes to be. I have had no luck. yet.
Wampar,
If you don’t mind my asking… What kind of marker did you use for Big Baby’s tattoos? Did you use black nail polish for the toenails? Do you have any close up pics? Or any reference pics for Big Baby’s tattoos?
I don’t think the heart boxers are “real” Ken’s fashions.
The “rock star” outfit and the beige jumpsuit show up on Ebay every now and again. You just need to think outside the box for the search terms to find them. You may also need to piece together the rock star outfit “piece by piece” as the complete set has been selling for big bucks.
I learned a valuable lesson with Big Baby’s tatoos. I used multi colored sharpies. The plan was the apply the sharpies, and then blur them out a little using nail polish remover. The problem that I didn’t expect was that I ended up with large blotches because the wet ink in the nail polish remove instantly stained the plastic around it. If they indeed release a TSC Big Baby I am probably going to test crayons for at least some of the tattoos.
