Also, i was looking atv that picutre, and I dont think his eyes are glowing from zurg vision. There are 2 oics online o Zurg, one with glowing eyes and mouth, and one without. Im assuming the eyes just light up when the mouth is lit up for his talking. But maybe Im wrong and he will have zurg vision. Thatd be an awesome suprise.

Even if he turns out to be a few inches too short, it’s still by far better than nothing.
I dont think it would be hard or surprising for him have Zurg vision. All it should be is a hole in the back, and transparent eyes. The eyes can both glow and allow us to see through them. Probably not at the same time though. I would think having a light would make it impossible to see anything.
Edit: yeah, I don’t think the eyes are glowing from sunlight but rather LED. There I don’t think there’s enough light to reflect like we see in the movie. In the movie he is facing the front door of Al’s toy barn. That’s not the case here.
Well, for his eyes to light up electronically, there would have to be electronics in them which would block the zurg vision. Thats why I think it must be one or the other
The electronics would be just be in the bottom portion of the head or even the chest, leaving only some very tiny Leds to light up the mouth and eyes. I think they could do both. You just wouldn’t want to activate the lights while looking through it (or else you probably wouldn’t be able to see as much)

I do still think it can be done, and if it this were TSC would more convinced it’ll have it. But I have to keep remembering that its not, and corners most definitely will be be cut. And I think most of the Zurgs released haven’t had Zurg vision have they? I assume there has to have been at least one version with it, no? and they probably made it its main feature too if so, right?
I haven’t really done my research on that. I know there aren’t many Zurgs in the first place, but I would think one existed at some point that had it.
But yeah, we’re probably better off lowering expectations and assume Zurg vision will be omitted.
Out of curiousity, does anyone know about the six million dollar man doll zurg vision was inspired from in the first place? Did he have led(s) as well?
I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I really don’t think the two would mesh very well at all, but neither of us are a proffessional toy designer so who knows Regardless, this became my most wanted item currently.I wish we had more information about him and less time until he hits shelves.
According to the TS2 commentary, he did inspire the zurg vision, but i dontr think he had LEDs. There was a zurg i saw on ebay that was like six inches that had a form of zurg vision, but most of the back of his head was the clear red plastic. Kinda lame. If it was a collection item, it may be possible, but anything less than that and i think its too complicated and not cost effective for them to try doing both.
I really do think that the Zurg toy does have Zurg vision. I use to have a small zurg toy that had Zurg vision and the eyes always looked like they where glowing when put in the right kind of lighting. I will see if i can find him and take a picture. Know what where not thinking about is the flash from the camera. The camera flash will be the biggest thing that will make it look like the eyes glowing with LED’s, cause easy to tell that the camera flash is really bright. I understand and see the LED in the mouth, but i can’t say it makes the eyes glow or that there are LEDs in the eyes. I really do believe there is Zurg vision even if there is a LED. But yea like what Oreo-94 said “I guess we’ll have to wait and see.”
Yeah it might be possible! But I don’t know if they will make a lot of effort with Zurg either! They probably target the children first. So I doubt it will be too elaborated!
But anyway! You can add a little thing under zurg to make it bigger next to buzz I guess…
But if it’s only a prototype, I’m pretty sure they will fix most of the problems on it…

From what i see t he burg looks really good and i too like the shiny paint work of burg as you say emma in some scenes he does look shiny. wonder how much he will be?

Speculating on price at this point is kinda useless. We have no idea what company or what line he is from, so it could be anything reall. Ad in that we dont know what he can do and it becomes even moe difficult.
Until we hear otherwise its Thinkway. That’s what the staff is saying. Is there really any reason they would be misinformed?
As for price, its true we don’t know what it can do. We do know this isn’t TSC, which to me says it won’t be $60.00, as that’s about what comparable TSC items went for. I’m still curious if this is the U command Zurg that Doomseeker saw. If it is, that would put it into TSC pricing territory. If its just a figure, it would probably be more like 30-40.
Its not like Thinkway didnt lie about wave 3 (no new characters, just new buzz, woody, jessie)…I still think it could be TSC…it could be bigger than it looks, and there isnt anything (other than the height) that would eliminate it from TSC territory.
For me, what eliminates it from TSC territory is screw holes. We can easily see screw holes and if it was a TSC toy it would not have screw holes. Know i’m not saying TSC toys don’t have screw holes but they didn’t have any that stand out so much like the Zurg’s screw holes. But hey i could be wrong cause it is a prototype…
