An articulated jaw? Gosh darn it. Now I want that version of Rex!
It’s odd that the TSC version of Rex didn’t come with an articulated jaw (for safety reason?), yet this version does.
As much as I like the addition of the articulated jaw, I think the TSC one looks nicer overall. The electronics on this new one aren’t hidden very well.
Yep. I love that its hard plastic and apparently has an articulated jaw, but for me the main annoyance is that the scales are not right. They’ve been completely redone for this toy, It also has seams, where as the TSC is seamless. I could tolerate that if the sculpt were as spot on as the TSC, but yeah I’ll stick with what I have.
Anyone else think this pic doesn’t look like it has an articulated jaw though? I mean, I don’t see enough of a gap there to say it has it. Maybe the photo isn’t of the final product or my eyes are just deceiving me, but it looks like its all one piece to me.
Doesn’t look like the jaw can move , looks stuck in place, but perhaps it’s a prototype .
Well, if it is a proto it still looks more recent than this.
Its really hard to tell from this angle but it looks like it has more of a throat gap indicating its articulated here. There isn’t much of a gap on the sides though but maybe its articulated in a different way than the movie design.

I’m very happy with how the whole collection is coming along, although it looks like its coming to an end!
As you can see in the pictures above, I have Andy’s toy chest, all of the cardboard box buildings, every one of Andy’s board games (still trying to find a good checkers board) and I am very close to finishing the entire collection of Andy’s toys.
Here is what I still need:
I’m having spirit mama make me a Bo peep, which will be movie size and have an actual fabric dress. I’m very excited about her!
I’m still looking for a good Andy’s pink bear, I searched all over eBay and can’t seem to find one that does the trick. Does anyone know where I can find someone to make me a stuffed bear?
I still need one more stand still alien. I was never really happy that they were all different poses so I decided I would search for two more stand still aliens. I was fortunate enough to have a forum member help me out with one of them
And that’s about it! After that I’m sure I can find little things to fix up like Woody’s mouth like Emma did or get a new rubber duck but I would say
I’m just about finished with Andy’s toys. I would definitely like to thank members like wampar and Emma who gave awesome advice to where I can get the best replicas and slink and toystory21 who supplied me with some awesome toys!
My Andy’s toys collection may be coming to an end but I am still collecting Bonnie’s toys, and it looks like we’re gonna meet a lot more of them in the upcoming short

My room isnt toy story themed by any means, it’s just a normal room. It was a big hassle taking out each toy from my closet and setting them up and everything, so they’re already back in there. Sorry about that, but the room itself isn’t that special 
Welcome back! Thank you for the kind words! For now, my collection will only consist of Andy’s toys and Bonnie’s toys. I did collect sunny side at one point, but found that I would never truly be happy with how the collection would come out, it would become just too much (not to mention the price). While Andy and Bonnie’s toys you have a clear amount of toys you need and that definitely works for me. I don’t have my Bonnie’s toys collection with me right now, but it isn’t much right now. Buttercup, prickle pants, dolly, peas, Totoro is all I have. I think I’m going to have spirit mama make me a chuckles and I’m still holding out on a trixie. I plan to also obtain the bath toys from the next short some how, that should be a big project.

Does she make things with cloth? I thought she only used clay, so chuckles would be a sculpture if she made it I assume. And also, alot of the bath toys actually exist in real life. The duck doesnt look like any Ive seen and the pirate boat guy ive never seen, but the more minor ones can be found
Spirit. Mama I believe specializes in doll making actually. So she would sculpt together the chuckles body and make the outfit from fabric.
I spotted only a few toys that actually exist, can you help me out with the others?

Collection looks great, lostdude. The Robot and Mr. Spell look fantastic. I don’t recall you posting pics of them before, any chance we can get closer pics of them? And that Dolly (Andy’s version) is perfect, almost makes me wish I had done those three characters…almost.
