I have a Disney Store really close by, so I guess there’s no harm in checking him out at least. The price is pretty fair for two figures, especially considering the features on both of 'em.

How do the lights work anyway? Is there a way to switch it on for a certain amount of time, or does it just flicker as he talks and nothing else? Its crazy what a difference it makes being on as opposed to off. It looks great while on, but while off, doesn’t look as good as the movies. Of course that’s to be expected because they weren’t working with actual materials in the movies.
Well, we never saw him turned off in the film lol, we couldnt expect him to be permanently lit up.
Sure we have, between breaths they would go off.
Edit: er, his mouth anyway. For his eyes, I think the only time we see them off is just as he’s escaping his box.

No different, lol. I don’t even know what point Im trying make anymore. I guess I just wanted to know if there was a way to keep his eyes on long enough to take a picture, or will I have to time it right after making him talk?
Im not sure I understand what you mean. I’ve had 3 people show me pics of theirs lit up, so im sure he stays lit a reasonable amount of time.

The eyes are translucent. However, even if they were more transparent, you would never be able to get your eye close enough to the back of his head to see through it, because the collar stands up and is not removable. Not to mention with the electronics in his head, I think you would have wires in your line of sight.
The lights only go on when you have pushed the button for him to talk, and they do flash on and off with his voice. In order to get the pics of him lit up, I snapped several pics in a row and only showed the lighted ones.
There are no additional buttons on him anywhere, so there are no modes…it appears that the press and talk mode is what we get, though I didn’t read the instructions, so MAYBE if you hold the button on his chest in for a while something changes, MAYBE…but probably not.
The hand and gun are molded together. It isn’t even that the gun is glued into his hand…it is the same piece of plastic. And no, the dial on the gun doesn’t move at all.

You all probably don’t remember me but anyways I’m just happy we finally have a Zurg that we can say “hey, Buzz has someone to fight with” I know he’s not perfect but hey we are kinda lucky we’ve actually got one to be honest after all of these years. I just HOPE he comes over to the UK as I’d make my way to Westfield as soon as possible if it did. Does anyone have any pictures of the box zurg and buzz come in? (Sorry for the really bad grammer)
