When I Get My Toy Story Collection Mr. Potato Head, I Won’t Be Putting The Eyes In It Too Quickly. I Will First Of All, Review It, Secondly, Take Pictures Of It In My Collection & By Itself, & Lastly, Test The Eyes. If It Doesn’t Work Out The Way I Wanted It Too Work Out, Then I Will Fix The Separate Eye Pieces & Then Test The Eyes To See If It’s Okay To Use Them Instead Of The Normal horrible Eys!
I Like Your Collection & I’m Still Working On Mine. I’m Trying To Get The Rockem Sockem Robots Off Of Chapter Indigo.com, Etch A Sketch From Target, & Evil Zurg From The Disney Store!
Also, I’ve Been Excited About Rex, Mr. Potato Head, & Slinky Dog. I’m Hoping To Get Those This Year On December 25th. Also, RC, Bo Peep, & The Others. A 3D Printer Plush 2 Toys From A Non-Toy Story Movie Called “Wreck-It-Ralph” & I’d Be Happy After That Day!
I Can’t Afford A Roly Poly Clown Like The Ones You’ve Got, So I Should Make Mine On December 27th Next Year. I’m Hoping To Get A Prospector Pete Toy Next Year. The Troikas, I Think I Should Either Get From EbAY Or Get Some Plastic Eggs (that look much like the Toy Story Troikas, but naked) & Add The Animal Textures To Them To Make Them More Accurate Than How They Made!
And Also, Unless The Disney Store Has More Hamms That Look Like The Ones Most Of You Have & Are Plastic That Time, Don’t Think I’m Getting Another Hamm Because I Have One That Still Is Good!
Dang, is the zipper guy ceramic? Either way, props on the clean job.
I really do like how the yes came out on Mr. P, I was immediately reminded of his first appearance in Toy Story. The parts on both look great. You can see the filled in hole and smile lines on Mrs. P, but it’s negligible next to the great details.
I’d be interested to see how those parts looked on a bendy arms Potato Head:
But really, nice work. One of the better Potato Head fixes that uses the classic body
Thanks a ton.Captain Zip is Polymer clay and i used Triple Thick Gloss Glaze to give it the shine. Regarding the Potato Heads, iv’e wanted to redo the arms so the fingers are separated, and the ears also,so they are more like the Tsc Potato Head.
And the hole was covered the best i could. It was difficult getting the right shade.Originally I used Sculpey for the hole and i used a hair dryer to cure it.before curing it was seamless, but the clay darkened, and i scrapped it off and filled it with airdry clay.
And they’re done! The Magic Slate and Tinkertoy bucket have been completed…
The artwork for the Tinkertoy bucket was done by me, and is as screen accurate as it gets. The front artwork for the Magic Slate was done by myself and a friend, the artwork on the back was from someone on here. Cant remember who did it though. The slate itself was harvested from a vintage Magic Slate toy, and then cut down to size.
Hello everyone I’ve come into some spending money recently and I’m torn between the disney on ice bo peep or the thinkway version and the sheep aren’t to important to me i plant to sculpt a bigger version so any suggestions ?
lostdude108, I Want The Same Collection For My Daughter When I Grow Up. I’d Demand Pesky Macintosh J. Pilgrim For Rex & The Aliens Most Likely, But All Of It, GOOD, Even Rex & Aliens!
According to this scene, Bo is around an inch or two taller than Buzz. In reality, the TSC Buzz is 12" while both Bo Peeps are 11". Both dolls are going to fall short (no pun intended) in the end so your choice is only a matter of preference.
During the panel for Toy Story That Time Forgot, Pixar displayed a chart with the approximate scales of the Battlesaurs. The Elysian Guard is easily the most tallest of the figures, even without her spear. Reptillus Maximus seems to be around the same size as Buzz which makes sense for the hero of a toy line.
I wonder if a toy company will use this data to make more figures…
Edit: Thinkway has a tab for TSTTF (it only leads to the Youtube homepage). After the trailer is released, maybe they will show prototypes of the toys (and possibly a screen-accurate Trixie!).
