Toy Story Replicas (No trading-related posts please)

Hi there, how have people gone about attaching custom made pieces to the TSC Mr potato Head???

Just a little heads-up for those interested… new Toy Story of Terror LEGO Bunny info here.

Take a look!

Haven’t posted any pictures of my collection in a very long time, had about a year-long break from collecting. My aim now is to finish!

Desperately trying to find a way to change my troll’s brown eyes to blue. Anyone got any ideas?

Emma-In-Candyland graciously sent me some blue eyes for my troll last year. She may have more? It was easy to pop the old ones out and new ones in and sure makes a difference. I need to make the bikini still. Need the flower pattern to print out on a sticker sheet. What did you use?

^^ I just painted mine. If you look close up, the white flowers do get a little splody! However, in the movie it looks like a fabric used; probably something like felt. When I’ve finished my collection I might go back a refine but for now I’m happy with her.

I actually have 4 extra pairs of the blue troll eyes if anyone is still looking, along with a blue tinkertoy bucket lid that can be painted red. Message me.

kdthomas, check the first page of the thread. Tyler attached the flower design for the Troll’s bikini.

Hi, Im New In The Forums, Im From Chile,13 years, I Started To Collect Toy Story Replicas, And I Started A petition to Disney living, because I really want a truly accurate bo peep doll

change.org/p/disney-living- … -exclusive

AAAHHH! It’s Zurg! And he’s got an Ion Blaster!

Okay, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I doubt Disney Living will listen to the petition without a large fan outcry (something like the petition for more Princess Leia merchandise at Disney Store). Your best bet is getting lucky on Amazon or eBay for the 1995 Thinkway Toys version. Or…you could be like me and drop $200.00 for it…

So only just 1 option is left for me… Searching at thrift stores :frowning:

Trust me, you’ll find one, don’t give up! I was able to snatch mine up for £30 on eBay. Just keep an eye out and one will show up!

Good idea, but for cheap I only find dolls without the original clothes, and the worst problem, I have to pay the shipping to Chile, my country, and some shipping to here is very expensive, so I need someone in United States who is a Chilean, or he/she is traveling to Chile.

Sorry if my english is not good as should be, but that is a minor problem

^Your English is fine!!!

On another note, does anybody possibly know if any medicom rocky’s are available out there? He’s the only figure I’m not too happy with in my collection, as you can see in the pictures above, I have the Alien Tossing Rocky from Hasbro. There’s only about an inch between the figures but still, I think the medicom rocky is a much better sculpted toy.

Thanks you so much!!

Searching in EvilBay, I didn´t find any Medicom Rocky, just Sid and Scud :frowning:

Wow, Zurg finally sold out! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/youwhaaa.gif” alt=“o_0;;” title="You

Whaaa…" />

Even though most of us probably bought him, I hope they re-stock in time for the Holidays.

Does anyone know if Pixar Store still sells the Luxo balls? I’ve been wanting to send them a letter about how much of a fan I am and maybe they’ll send something back and wanted to ask if maybe they could send me a ball.

Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it. I remember Slink had to address this issue of people asking Pixar employees for exclusive items. It also comes off more greedy for a particular product rather than passion for the company.

Well I didn’t want to mail them just to ask for stuff. I just wanted to know if possibly they could ship something small like the ball or a hat if it wasn’t a problem, but if they didn’t, it’d be fine. I just don’t want to pay 150 dollars for something. I could also just paint a rubber yellow ball. I’d be happy if they just sent me a letter back. Anyways does anyone know if they’re still sold?

There was someone on here a year or two ago that had a connection to get some of those balls. I wasn’t impressed with them. I ended up getting one of the Disney Store rubber balls. It’s the size and feel of a standard schoolyard kick ball, but colored the colors of the Pixar ball. Cost was $12 shipped through an eBay seller. But checking eBay just now all I see is that $149 ball. I started collecting Toy Story toys in December 2010. I think I got in at the right time as it’s almost impossible to find anything now. I find it funny that nobody can find Utility Belt Buzz. He was the first toy I bought. I prefer the original though, but it’s still nice to have him. I think these forums are dead because there really isn’t anything out there to talk about. Things usually pick up when something new comes out like they did with the last wave of Thinkway toys (Dolly, Buttercup, Pricklepants) and then again when Zurg was released by Disney Store. There was some more activity around Toy Story of Terror but that faded. Once Thinkway releases their new line and the short comes out, things may start moving again. Who knows, maybe we’ll see a TS4. Plenty of adventures to be had with Bonnie.

I was lucky enough to go to “Day At Pixar 2010”. One of the perks was getting to buy stuff at the company (studio) store. They didn’t have any balls then and someone ahead of me had purchased the last Stinky Pete they had :frowning:. I ended up getting a Cars Hawaiian shirt, Pixar employee t-shirt, Sunnyside Daycare Hoodie, a book on Cars, and a employee sticker that looks like those country stickers, but it was PXR. It’s on my truck  The cost to attend was $250 then. I just checked and this year’s event in May was $500. Yikes. It was totally worth it if you are a Pixar super fan. I got to meet Lee Unrick (cool dude) and screen TS3 3D in the Steve Jobs theatre. Best movie experience ever for me. It was sad to leave that place because it made me so happy happy!

You are so lucky! I wish I could get a tour one of these days, but even if I could get in, there’s probably no way for me to get to California. I live in Ohio and my family doesn’t have a whole lot of money so yeah. That sucks though that the person bought the Prospector. How much was it selling for? Anyways, it’s alright if they don’t have a ball. I could probably either find someone who has one or just paint a yellow ball. I really want a Pixar hat though to match my Pixar shirt I got at Disney World this summer. BTW I saw that $150 dollar ball on eBay. Not going to buy it though.
