that’s cool…is that the same prospector that Wampar had?
he also have the limited Jessie talking doll , with the woody roundup box (different with TSC) and COA too (also different)
I’m almost certain that Buttercup is bigger than that. [spoil]Buzz is seen riding on him near the end of the film, so his size is clearly more along the lines of Bullseye when compared to the other characters.[/spoil]
I saw the film again this past weekend and paid close attention to scale. It looks like buttercup is not as big as Bullseye but definitley bigger than the one I have in the pic above. Same for Dolly and Prickle Pants.
I have been off from work the last couple of days, so I had some time to correct a couple of things that have been bugging me in my collection, and add a couple of new pieces:
I had bought a dump truck for Lotso on ebay. I mismeasured and it is a bit smaller than I expected it be, but I actually like how it looks with him, and it doesn’t take up half of the room that one in proper scale would take (if they even make such a truck.)
I made a Magical Battle Staff for Twitch out of sculpey and a piece of bamboo.
I sprayed Sparks’s head and arms with a metallic spray paint, made his claws a more vibrant red color, and made a sticker for his face, so it would appear as if his eyes were lit up (it also covers a little accident I had with the paint.) I also hade the lightning stickers above his chest, since I realized about a week after I got mine that they were missing.
Tour Guide Barbie’s clothes have bothered me since the day I bought her back in 1999. So I painted them a darker blue. While the outfit is still wrong, this is a LOT better than the satiny turquoise finish.
I scanned in the paper from the bucket of soldiers, and got rid of the upc info, and the TSC labels. I printed it out, and put a laminating sheet over it. I will most likely get this printed at Kinkos at some point in the future…but for the moment this is good enough.
Inspired by Theclaw’s eyebrows on his Chatter Phone, I decided to finally add a couple. I have been debating doing it for awhile. Of course, I am also still debating whether or not to get a vintage one on ebay. I think these eyebrows settle me enough to put it off a while longer.
And finally, I knocked another character off of the list on the way to completion of Andy’s room. The Roly Poly Clown. His shape is a little off, and the weight I put in his stomache to keep him standing upright isn’t working, so when he is not standing in plush carpet he falls forward. But I am pretty satisfied with him,
You’ve been busy Wampar for sure. Your collection is amazing because of the effort you put in to it. It’s always great to see your work. I wish I could find the time to make my own collection as special.
wampar: Dude, awesome job with all of that. I love your collection. I was thinking about making a Sculpey battle staff for Twitch when I get my figure as well. Yours looks really nice.
