Toy Story Replicas (No trading-related posts please)

cool Buzz DeathRay !
can you post more photos of him? with the wings are open and stand side by side with TSC buzz full bodied, and his box also?

out of topic, but where is the Thinkway TSC thread anyway?is it deleted and moved to here to talk a toy bout Toy Story?

That’s cool. I just wish that they could make a figure who’s helmet goes all the way back instead of halfway. I’d almost trade that for all of the other cool features.

BTW, how much is the Disney Store one with the gray button that you are showing?

It is still here. It was made “Sticky” so it always appears at the top of the topic list. It is currently the second topic listed on the board.

I’m starting to love that DSE Buzz. How much did he run? I may have to pick him up when I get back Stateside.

Still holding out for that UK issue Woody who says “Someone poisoned the water hole” -Omar

eh…I clean it up a bit to make it more real

Posted this in my thread, but it probably belongs here.

Bought a pack of smaller rings for Woody.

That looks much better and congrats for this thread becoming 100 pages. Did you find a way to fix the spacing for slinky on the certificate?

Hey guys, I went down to the charity store today and managed to get my hands on a See’n’Say WITH the yellow middle. I nearly passed out when I say it. :stuck_out_tongue: and It’s in REALLY good condition too

As requested, here are a few more pics of the Disney Store Buzz and TSC Buzz. The Disney Store Buzz has been on sale for a while at $20 (regular price $24.50). The wingspans are the same (11 5/8 inches).

hmm…intresting. that circle line pattern is on the actual buzz:

hemm…i wanna say that the Disneystore Buzz is more accurate in couple of things…it such also
-the karate chop
-button to open helmet
-the wings circle line patern
-thicker backpack
-down hand articulation

wich is great hohohow

Its only more accurate if your looking at the bullet points. I mean, it seems like a fine toy for kids, lot of play value there, but in terms of being on model visually, TSC is far more accurate.

I was at my local toy store to pick up a copy of ts3 for my boys leapster game pad and came upon these model kits. I picked up Buzz and woody for him .Their called klip kitz and seem pretty cool. They also do a copy of Buzz’s ship but it wasn’t in stock. I’m just waiting for my boy to come home and once he makes them I will post more pics.

Those definently look interesting. It’s not too easy finding info on them though… But I did come across this, and it shows off Buzz’s ship.

It’d be really neat (but impossible) if they did a Potato Head like that. Hasbro would never let it happen, but I’d buy one.

For those looking for Big Baby, this might be a start- cgi.ebay.com/1970S-UNEEDA-BABY-D … 2eae50c9b6

Death Ray, now I’ll simply Have to buy that Buzz. Looks great, and yeah sure he’s not film accurate, but he does everything Buzz should do. Amazing! Is the voice chip still Tim Allen? Still can’t figure how they get the laser and the karate chop action to both work. -Omar

My guess is that there is a small wire that goes from the little light bulb, to the button, to the batteries, and the hole is made in the arm to move without cutting that wire. Also, It sounds like the same recordings from the Original Thinkway Buzz, so Yes. Tim Allen.

Just wondering , to those that have those cute trolls I’ve seen in your collections , how did you guys find them ?
I’m having trouble finding screen accurate ones that are in scale .
Greatly appreciate help from you guys

Don’t even know how it did that… but it double posted after someone else… sorry about that.

Oh, but On-Topic, I really like that Buzz. I’ve got to try to get some cash together.

OneEyedBart95, thanks for the information. When I get back Stateside, I’ll have to pick up one for sure, now that I know about the voice chip etc.

Has anyone checked out the Ebay link? What do you guys think? Of course its not perfect, but its the first thing I thought when I saw him -Omar
