Big Baby seems like he’s going to be one of the hardest toys to make. His head is very unique, and while many good starts have been located, much work must be done no matter what.
I hope that some company makes an in-scale Stretch. Most likely she will be only stretchy and not sticky if they do, but that’s fine by me, because those things get so gross and hairy.

Does anyone happen to have a spare tour guide barbie or know where i could find one cheap? Shes not a big priority but i figured if i could find a cheap one or somewhat cheap one I would bite the bullet.

I like the material their heads are made of, seems more screen accurate than the slightly translucent vinyl got in the TSC.

Remember guys, Pixar is to blame for the mouth, not Thinkway. Thinkway was willing to do the closed mouth, it wasn’t until Pixar jumped in and intervened that they opened his mouth back up.

The Pull string operation on Woody was a success! (Thanks to Tyler H’s advice)
Now, before I cut the excess string and tie off for good, does anyone know the exact length the string is intended to be in the movies? an approx even?
But 3 good things came from this. I now have a smaller ring, longer string, and its thinner. All adds up to more accuracy.
I thought I posted it, but I may have not… or it’s in the TSC section. Either way, i’ll be sure. I measured it, and it’s about 3.5 the width of Woody’s torso, so to the TSC Sheriff, it’s just short of 7 inches. Plus, i’d love to see some pics with the string pulled if you could.

Like I said, from my measurements and estimation it’s just short of 7 inches. You can wait until after you are happy with it and finish it up, i’m patient. I totally get where you are coming from too, once you pull that string it’s either he talks at you for 5 minutes, or you’ve got to spend 5 minutes turning him off.
I’ll try getting some Screencaps for you, if you’d like. I made sort of an accessory of his fully extended string for those scenes, so i’ve been looking at those scenes. I’d be no problem for me to post a few screencaps.
My thing is, how to we know when it has been pulled all the way in the movies? I think the only shot we know for sure its been pulled all the way is in TS3 while danging from the tree, thanks to gravity.
But yes, screenshots would be nice.

That’s kinda true, about the strings real length, but when it gets caught he kinda gets yanked back, as if he’s being held in place. Then it’s loose enough to come off the hook.
In the second, you really can’t tell that it’s ALL the string, he just stops pulling it. But in 3, it’s definently the whole thing. Like you said, gravity. But the catch is, there is no shot that shows the whole thing, plus it’s in theater. Either way, i’ll have some caps up for you shortly.
