PLUSH KEVIN
Very Cool, I like Plush
A plastic beak on a plush doll? That’s kind of dumb.
It’s actually faux leather
The beak does clash a bit with the rest of the doll, but otherwise it looks pretty cool.
Yeah, they shoulda put that red tip on her beak, but other than that, she’s adorable!
“Help the species survive with a daily hug!” Daaw… such a sweet description!
I want one!!! Can I keep her? Please? Please?
She looks like a feather duster, but still very cute.
Any ladies tees in yet?
I bought a couple of the screen print t-shirts from Disney.com and I just got them. I ordered a large, but they seem to be closer to XL or even XXL. I hope they shrink a lot.
Does anyone know if there is or is going to be a Carl plush? I would seriously buy one if there is.
Unfortunately, not to my knowledge. I know they got a few model figurines of him, though.
The following might interest animation students or behind-the-scenes Pixar fans. A friend tipped me off that the latest June issue of 3d World (a magazine for 3d artists) is a “Special Pixar Edition”. It comes within an envelope with the theatrical poster on the front. The issue comes with one of three collectable covers featuring a diffrerent character: Carl, Russell, and “a third ultra-limited cover for subscribers” of Kevin (and Dug). Much like the exotic bird, a “further 1,000 copies of this rare cover will be distributed across 3D World’s international print run.”
I’ve been a regular reader of this mag, thanks to my school’s library, but the high price (19 AUD$) has been a barrier to me. This one apparently has a premium tag of 25 AUD$ roundabout, but I think I won’t miss out on this one! I’ll have to make a trip to my local newsstand to see if it sells any copies. I’m tempted to ‘cheat’ by opening the envelope to take a peek inside before buying, cos’ I really, really hope I get the elusive Kevin one! Gosh, this is like playing Russian Roulette, only the ‘bullet’ in this case is the one you want! Even if I don’t ‘Find Kevin’, there’s a neat seven-page feature article with insights from the production team, and a history of Renderman as it celebrates its 21st anniversary, so everybody wins!
An opportunist got this UP black T-shirt, men sized small or medium, in Japan and it is signed by Rdel Carmen 58 of 150. It’s selling for 4200yen, about $US44.00 at Yahoo Auction Japan. There is Dug and three other dogs saying SQUIRREL! It’s UP for sale until June 27th Japan time.

In Japan, we won’t see UP film until December 2009.
That shirt is fantastic!
cool shirt! too bad it’s pricey…
btw, NickyTea, nice sig! where d’you get it?
i dunno if Pixar fans or Up fans realized this but the following is the real Grape Soda ‘Ellie’ Badge that Disney released it as ‘Surprise Release’. It’s pricey to me. Just hoping no Up fan will buy it. lol. There are only 300 in the world.
SUPER-DUPER RARE all I can say.

i can’t put the URL message body 'coz the post won’t come out…
Cute shirt, Rey!
Yikes-a-rooney. That is pretty expensive for a badge. I do like it, though. A lot.
I’m wondering why Pixar didn’t release any ladies tees… I wanted one. And those create-your-own ones look a bit cheap, and don’t have the cool designs. Why did the men get original Up tees, but the girls didn’t? D=
you should read this though, Rachel. just hoping that you’re not a feminist.
Oh wow, getting one of those pins would be AWESOME. I really wanted one, and the fact that they’re limited is incredible. If I had the money for it, I’d fork it over ASAP, probably my most wanted piece of Up swag.
ffdude1906: yeah.
hey mod, if you have updates for Up merchs, please let me know, okay? thanks.

Through contests and advertising, they did have t-shirts that girls could definitely wear. In particular, some contests gave out light blue tees with the house floating on balloons like in the logo on the front. There were also royal blue ones with Carl on them, and brown ones with Russell on them. They were like advertising shirts, so they make them fairly unisex and in all sizes, so that both male and female publicists can wear them, as well as give them out to all. I don’t know where you could find those shirts now though…

Bah, I want anything and everything Up related (but still want that badge the most drool) Never had a limited or celebrity souvenir or autograph (I got signatures by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, which was awesome)
