What's on your mind? (Status Updates)

I was watching This is 40.

I watched an episode of Stargazing.

I have nearly 500 posts! I hope to one day get to 1000. I’m almost half-way there! 8D :nerd:

You are the true troopers! I’ve seen segments on the Colbert Report about the crazy weather you all have had lately.

Uh, what? Take credit for what? Yes, the Midwest is the nation’s farming basket. But as far as agriculture production goes, California blows the rest of the states away, taking first place. Then followed by Texas. Plus be thankful for once! For every dollar a Californian pays on taxes, only 70 cents return to California. Many states in the South and Midwest receive more money than they pay.

And I’m not bashing on the Midwest, man. I have family there. I know that much talent has come from there. Look at Nebraska for gosh sake: Johnny Carson, Marlon Brando, and Fred Astaire are from there. And that’s just one of many states there.

I won’t even touch that last sentence. To each their own, I suppose. But I find that statement to be very ironic.

On this whole weather thing, I live in Indiana. AKA the WORST weather state EVER. Last week it was 40 on Monday, 30 and snowing on Tuesday, we had a snow day on Wednesday, then, yesterday, it was 60 and sunny. I really hate Indiana weather. At least in Ohio, it would be cold and snowy in the winter and hot and sunny in the summer. Here in Indiana, I have absolutely no clue what the weather could be on any given day. It’s horrible.

I found out that I made Principals’ List last semester.

I was watching Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Woke up this morning to a lovely, sunny Tuesday. Too bad school exists on Tuesdays.

Oh wow, that is really biopolar weather! I don’t know if I could handle it…

I was watching Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1.

What? No! I meant the accent thing. I’ve been on boards were some people think it started in California when it really started in the Midwest. I know it’s just dumb people who believe in stereotypes and think people here speak with a country accent and were all low educated farmers.I also laugh when they say were all super religious. I do believe in God and Jesus but I have never read the Bible and find church kind of boring. And that all the midwest is flat, Missouri is actally pretty hilly, it’s not a mountion region not even close, but it’s not just flat. With all the university’s there I know most people don’t think that! You’re a smart girl so you know better then do beleive in that stuff. I know not everyone where you live smokes pot and is a snob. I foudn this stuff on the City-Data forum if you’re wondering, it’s pretty cool, I might join.

Gotta study for a Goverment test on Thursday.

We went through a lot of bureaucracy today.

Midterm weeeeeeek.

^Yikes, hope you get through it ok!!

Zombies scare me. :open_mouth: Quite a bit, too.

Yeah, I just have been procrastinating. My Anthropology midterm was easy, I didn’t do so well on Film Appreciation. And I have History and Mythology tomorrow.

We begin to work today on this term.

Ugh, I am SO through with Algebra 2. :frowning: Even my sister is having difficulty helping me through it—not a good sign. X(

Ughhhh, I hated that class! I had to take it in high school and college. Not fun.

I’ve actually always loved math as a subject, but I’ve quite disliked my math CLASSES of the past two years (Algebra 2 Honors, Trigonometry + Calculus). As I see it: The more helpful your teacher and peers are + your willingness to learn the math * Enough time! = GREAT SUCCESS.
