Watching Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2.
Spring break started yesterday for me. I’m at that part of the semester when I want school to be over.
It’s about 80* today, beautiful.
Got up, had breakfast, went back to bed, here I am!
Leirin, Kenzie, LQ: Math has never, ever been my strong suit, and I hated algebra. :V I did a lot better in geometry, for some reason, and never had to take Algebra 2. (Perks of being homeschooled and studying two math classes in one year to get all my credits!) Despite not taking it, I feel your pain! It was the only class I ever took where my mom and I had to purchase an Idiot’s Guide, because for some reason, it was just that confusing to us!
little chef
Math. Is horrible. I have never enjoyed it, and I just hate it. Its not one of my strong points either.
Currently, I have possibly the biggest creative block I have ever had. I can’t draw, I can’t write… Ugh! Its killing me!
Re watching The Longest Daycare.
Oh.,I despise all forms of algebra. Geometry is endlessly better.
I don’t mind geometry. Its fun sometimes! Sometimes.
The reason I really love math is because I like finding the patterns and the connection. Geometry wasn’t as easy for me to get but it would have been way much harder if the teacher I had had not been so clear and made everything seem so understandable, even to someone who did not understand it as well. Sometimes what holds people back is that they just don’t want to do it because it looks confusing, period. But if it’s not that, then you just need people who will take the time to be really understanding and clear to you. My case is the latter. I don’t always understand the algebra/calculus at first, but if you just let me study the examples for a few minutes, it will make sense to me and I’ll be more than happy to do the work. In my case, I’m being rushed through the Calc/Trig class that was just added this year. They sort of just put me and my friends there without asking just because we did well enough when it wasn’t there. Ugh. Of course I’m not rushing myself, but the pace of my teacher and the class is rushing me against my will, which is why it’s super annoying, not because of the math itself. Almost no one in my class is doing THAT well right now, but the staff at my school can be so difficult to work with, which is hard when the students are basically nothing more than yes-men and women.
500 Posts! Woot! I’m halfway there!
I feel you. Math is the bane of my existence. How I got an A in Statistics last year is a great mystery.
I hate math so much, that one of the large factors for me deciding not to go to University of Nebraska, is that they want me to take a math placement test! None of the schools in California want me to do that, because I passed Stats with an A! But Nebraska wants different math. So all my hard work at JC is for nothing, and if I took the UNL placement test, I’d bomb it and start all over again
Ah man, so I guess I’m one of the only ones here who likes math, huh? It’s alright. At least I can relate at the moment, but I hope things can turn around after this year back to the days were math made sense to me.
I have a job interview Monday at 6!
Were talking about closing up the True vs False and bring in a new game to replace it. We do this to give other games a chance and to keep the forums more fresh. True vs False has been up for a year, has almost 3500 post, and was very populer. I put up the Good Idea/Bad Idea game up a few weeks ago. Here are a few new games possibilites
emag sdrawkcaB (Backwords game)
Someone writes a sentence backwords and the next person has to figure it out, then thay make a backwords sentence.
Hangman
Just hangman, you try to find out the word people the full body is made by the person with the word
Loved/Hated game (working title)
This is a game I made up. You come with with a negative sentence of something that most people like or love.
Ex. George Washington was a tradior to the crown and a bad leader!
Pixar is a bad company for killing 2D animation
Please pick one of the games that we would possibly replace some of the old games with.
Here are games that are currently on or have been lock up or put into archives, most of them have been the later.

Pixarfan: I really like The ^,>,V Game
Thanks!
I really like any games. I fail to see why we lock them once they get really popular.
It keeps the boards more fresh. Playing the same game gets boring after a while. When a person goes to anmusment part do they just go on one populer ride or one they like? No, They go on other rides because going on the same one would get boring and would be a waste of money. Then when they come back they next year they wanna go on new rides that were made if there were any. These games are the same. Playing the same ones gets stale and it’s fun to explore new ones. that’swhy I think it’s a good idea to close games after they’ve been up for a while. Give new games a chance and makes the boards more fresh. True and falsh had a good run, now a new game should take it’s place. We did the same for Say something about the person above you and the Word Association game. The Backwords game is something that hasen’t been tried from what I know so it would be fun.
Why do you still call me Pixarfan here. We’ve none each other for almost 3 years. It dosen’t bother me, but I know you call other members like Virginia, Grace, and Lauren by their real names. I don’t think I have called you by your username in almost 2 years. Once I know a members real name and know them well enough, I call them by their real name. Some I don’t know their name and have to use their username, like the Spirits and Leirin
Watching The Notebook.
I didn’t go to work today because I was sick.
Good luck, IV! You’ll do well.
Sorry to hear that, EJE. Hope you get better real soon.
Pixarfan91: Personally, I like the True or False game. I think it was a good idea. I suppose some games might get old after a while, but if they do, do they need to get locked up? People don’t have to keep playing them, and if it’s been left behind, maybe someone can search for it on the board index if they have a good response and bring it back if it has not been popular in a long time. Not to mention, it’s good to have classics, and I feel like True or False is an instant one of those. I think games should probably only be closed up once they start looping and becoming repetitive, or maybe if discussions can become heated or negative on those threads. I think I’d like to see this one stick around, but that’s just me. Maybe PixarTeo should be asked if she would be alright with the idea, just courteously. She created the sequel (hehe), True or False (The Real Version). That’s a new game I just responded to and it’s a lot like the other one but requires more thinking, which I think can be kind of fun.
