Watching A Happy Event.
I was watching Red Tails.
Watching Creamy Mami.
Watching Whisper of the Heart.
I got a new doll today, and I like her a lot! But I realized, she looks like Azula! A lot.

I watched Hemmingway & Gellhorn.
Omg, you’re right! I can see it in the facial features! It’s a very nice doll. ![]()
Thanks Leirin! She’s Fashionistas Raquelle, AKA Barbie’s Asian friend, for the sake of political correctness… I think she’s so cute and sassy looking! Now I feel tempted to buy another(they were on sale) and make her into Azula!
I’ll watch Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
I have a feeling I’m going to despise this film.
I saw Swimming with Sharks. What a twisted, unpleasant waste of time.
Watching Shame.
Oh, no. What was it like? ![]()
Making sprites… I should find something else to do, I’ve kind of got a headache ![]()
We’ve finished our Pixar marathon of this year.
Ready for Monsters University next week!
Leirin: This guy tortures his boss based on how he treated him. And then the ending; no me gusta.
I like the Desolation Of Smaug trailer quite a lot. I’m hoping they stick closer to the book on this film (in comparison to An Unexpected Journey).
^Why do they keep showing Legolas on all the promos? Legolas isn’t in the Hobbit. ![]()
The trailer is quite epic, there’s no denial. I still haven’t made my mind about what I think about Smaug, but I noticed that the angle in which he’s shown is quite deceiving.
But on the other hand it isn’t inconceivable that he was there. He was prince of Mirkwood at the time, after all.
I doubt it. The middle part is generally the most changed. Look at The Two Towers. But it still makes for a great film, and I think this one will too.
I don’t think the first was as strayed as an adaptation, anyway.
I’m excited enough, especially since 3 days ago I was depressed with this Summer’s offerings. Now I can be excited for 2 Winter movies.
That makes sense Spirit. I was just surprised to see him.
Watching Seven Psychopaths.
I think some people are too harsh on how Smaug looks from the trailer. Anyway he is in shadow and they still have a few months to perfect the CGI.
But at least most of the changes in The Two Towers had an explanation that made sense (though they didn’t improve the story in my opinion). Some of the changes in An Unexpected Journey may get explained in the next two parts (why the Nazgul were sealed inside tombs in the film, when in the books they were setting up Mordor and Sauron’s armies when Sauron was in Dol Guldur) but others I felt just made the film worse and I can’t see any explanation behind them (changing a lot of the Troll dialogue and the way they entered Goblin Town).
Nonetheless, I did like An Unexpected Journey, but thought it could’ve been a better adaption.
