Honestly, I thought An Unexpected Journey was a good movie overall. But it had some really dumb scenes. Was there any need to show the troll sneezing on Bilbo? And it felt like a video game sometimes, how it was obstacle after obstacle after obstacle. Obviously they had struggles in the book. But rather than having that fat, wobbly-joweled Goblin shout insults at them, they should have saved the time and gone straight to Bilbo and Gollum. I liked the movie. But I really doubt anyone could make a solid argument that it was as good as any of The Lord of the Rings.
Yes, it had flaws, but I think it was mostly good.

I agree fully. Some scenes felt too much like filler. However the visuals and score were still superb.
Gotta love Howard Shore! Also yes the visuals, except the orcs. shiver That was horrible.
The orcs were okay (aside from the Great Goblin, who I feel they turned into an absolute joke), but are nowhere near as good as the Live Action Orcs in The Lord Of The Rings.
Reading We for my literature class. It’s alright, but could be better and a little shorter since I need it done by next week and it’s around 200 pages.

I’m about to turn on my computer and go on iTunes so I can download the Man of Steel soundtrack. I was on my phone and I decided to listen to the previews of the tracks on iTunes before going to sleep. I loved them so much that I decided to turn on my computer and buy the soundtrack so I can put it in my iPod. I probably won’t be seeing the movie until next Wednesday.

I hate putting on a movie or show just so the others in the room can make conversation not relating to the movie. If you can’t keep calm and pay attention for 90 minutes, then go away. Please.
^Oh my gosh I can agree with this so much… I mean it’s one thing if the movie’s just playing as background noise but when you can see me really obviously watching it to enjoy it then can you be mindful and let me listen?? It happens so often 
I’m kind of really bummed tonight, but oh well. It’ll go away soon, it’s just all that’s on my mind right now
