Which Was The First DISNEY Animated Film You Watched ?

Oh. Well, I believe that period is over. I think we’ve reached the second renaissance. (and personally, I like even most of their bad films a lot  ).

Haha, I used to watch my Pooh tapes and both Toy Story movies all day every day. Mom says we had something like 5 TS VHSs before we got a DVD. 8D

I used to watch Disney every day. It was awesome, man. Little Mermaid, TS 1-2, Bug’s Life…everything. I was just a kid, so yesterday we watched Mulan again after like forever and I had a great sense of nostalgia. You get a different view of things when you come back to it after a long time.

My earliest memory is parts of The Rescuers re-released in 1983… So when I was 3.

I think mine was The Lion King. Which may be why I like it so much. If I did see one before, I was too young to remember.

I’m sure mine was Aladdin. but when I was little, I really watched all of the renaissance ones(except Beauty and the Beast) constantly. 8D

I don’t think I watched the films beofore the 60s much. I really only remember Bambi and Pinnocchio.

I’ve watched all 51 films in the canon, but not the direct to video sequels.

I honestly don’t remember very well what film I watched first. I actually kind of remember being around 2-3 years old, going to the video rental place with my parents, and looking at the Disney videos. The ones I remember seeing are Pinocchio and Peter Pan, but I don’t know which one I saw “first.” The first I saw in theaters was The Lion King when I was 4.

I’ve said it before, but so long ago I maybe should repeat it. My first film (not only from Disney but in general) was Alice in Wonderland.

I think my first film ever was Wizard of Oz, but, yet again, I was to young to remember my first film.

That’s a good first movie for a child/toddler to see, I think.

If I have kids, I was thinking of showing them all the Disney canon films in chronological order. Is that geeky? 8D

Whatever you want I guess.

What about a horror movie?

My first movie ever, I guess, was some Winnie the Pooh video. But I don’t know.

I’ve seen every Disney canon movie at least once, all except WtP more than 4 times.

I’ll be honest, the Disney canon films I enjoy the least are many of the “package features” from the '40s, so I have barely seen them. These are basically compilations of little cartoon shorts. Not my thing at all… Those are the ONLY Disney canon movies I don’t own, if that says something.

They’re my least favorite too (with the exception of the truly bad ones, like Chicken Little), but I understand what the studio was going trough at the time.

Anyway, they’re not much of my thing either.

I don’t remember what my first Disney film was. I think it was Lion King but I could be wrong on that.

I yhink the first disney film i saw was probably peter pan on video. the first i watched at the cinema was Dinosaur (I think)

I also didn’t like Chicken Little. I read Home on the Range was bad too.

I haven’t seen Home on the Range before but I hear it’s terrible. Chicken Little was just bad.

Home on the Range was terrible, but watching Chicken Little is like getting hit from start to end. Probably one of my worsts cinematographic experiences.
