But what editorial? And hard-cover or paperback?
I’m not sure what you mean by editorial. Scholastic? All of my Potter books are hardcover.
Ah, ok.
My hard-cover Scholastic edition is in quite a good shape, but I’ve seen quite a good deal of destroyed paperback ones from some other people.
My mom’s Harry and the Half Blood Prince disappeared about 5 years ago. I never got to fully read it too. Not sure what happened to it.
^^^^^
That’s to bad. It’s such a great book. I’m sure that everything can’t be a simple as it seems when it comes to what happened. I can’t wait to read the next book. But I don’t know if I’m going to read it before I go to bed every night like I did book six, or sit and read it in one or two days when I’m off from work.
Edit: Sometimes I grind my own gears! I have a bad habit of not changing expired credit cards, ATM cards or AAA cards in my wallet with the new ones I get in the mail until something comes up. Then I need to use the card only to realize that I can’t because it’s expired. ![]()
I hate it when people share countless stuff on facebook. It just takes more time to go town the page. Not every one of the shares will get a comment or like it so what’s the point? I wanna read my friends real stats, not a picture they find amusing all the time. It seems their desbrite for attention.
That’s similar to the reason I don’t want to be on facebook. If people post things I don’t approve of or don’t like, I don’t have time to go through everything and hide all of them.
Sometimes somebody I’m having a conversation with through text messaging will say something that will make me mad. When I say something about it, they tell me that they weren’t serious but theres no emoticon or lol or anything to let me know that.
On the Facebook note, I can’t stand when people post a new picture of themselves almost every day. I know a girl who used to change her profile picture every single day, I’m not kidding. ![]()
^ It’s weird when that happens! ![]()
Lol I know! Mine stays the same for like 2 months, I don’t know who has time to take so many pictures of themselves. ![]()
Haha, I’m kind of like that. I change the computer desktop picture more than once a day, and I change the picture on my phone quite a bit. None of the pictures are of me, though. I use it for that a million times more often than for actually calling people. I actually hate cell phones, but my parents bought me one.
My mom is on facebook, and she changes her picture based on holidays or events, like if it’s father’s day she would use a picture of her and her dad or something.
Yes, but that’s very different in my opinion. Your desktop isn’t being broadcast to 100’s of people, and the pictures aren’t of you either! I used to change my desktop background a lot but then I realized I wasn’t getting the chance to enjoy the pictures so leave it until I get bored now. ![]()
It really drives me crazy when it’s getting close to the weekend, like Thurday or Friday, I’m trying to wind down and relax, and then the people around me get more grumpy. Sometimes I feel more stressed out on the weekends because of it. That doesn’t really make sense. It could be their work, but why would it automatically escalate just when they should be happy it’s the weekend??
Haha, true.
Getting soggy half cooked fries from McDonalds!
My Playstation 3 breaking with my Simpsons Season 14 DVD stuck inside.
People not scrapping their plates clean before leaving them in the sink.
I hate it how they renamed the Sears Tower. It’s so stupid to rename an iconic and famous building like that. I’ll always call it the SEARS Tower.
Yeah, it’s now known as the Willis Tower. Don’t know why they changed the name. Infact, I actually drew a sketch of it in High School for Art Class, but I can’t find my Art book. It’s definitely in my house somewhere, and I’ll post an image if I can.
Just a question, have you ever been to Chicago?
I’ve driven by it 6 times on the way to Pennsylvania and back, but I’ve never actually set foot there. I REALLY want to go. I’m a big fan of skyscrapers, and the SEARS Tower is one of my favorites.
It’s the tallest building in the US right now. I like skyscrapers as well. I visited both the top floors of the Empire State Building and the Rockefeller Center during my trip to New York City when I was 13. Times Square at night must also be seen to be believed. I’d consider visiting Chicago and Los Angeles some time as well.
What’s getting on my nerves right now is-- and please don’t think I’m a scrooge for this-- people on DA thanking you for favoriting their stuff. I mean, it’s nice and all, but I’m a fave-a-holic, fave-n’-runner, fave-n’-dasher, whatever you wanna call me, so my inbox FILLS with “Thx 4 da fave :3 .” comments, and it’s kinda not fun replying to them all
. I can’t even really give worthwhile replies, it would take forever.
