Charlie Sheen. He annoys me.
Same here. His interview was funny in a pathetic way at first, but not all this attention on him is annoying.
Sorry Virginia!
Neighbors that make parties with high music
I forget, when did i ever say Hate when i said Love?
Justin Bieber.
The government my country has. That bothers me. Spot number one
Sorry you guys are annoyed by Sheen, but I feel for him. First of all, he’s a winning warlock rock star from Mars. Secondly, his entire life’s been consumed by drugs and scantily clad women. He never gets a break. He thinks the writer on TaaHM wasn’t fair to him, so he’s automatically an antiSemite. Isn’t it possible that he was unfair to him? Why is everything bout race? Gosh…
Anyway, I’m a little annoyed with the movie Black Swan. I expected so much, and was completely dropped. It was basically soft porn.
Well, but that’s his fault!
Poor Hitler, his entire life was consumed by war desires and hate to the Jews
Having recently watched ‘Never Say Never’ (It was for an assignment for my uni magazine, not of my own volition), I’d like to say that he is actually a very talented performer; he can play multiple instruments like the guitar, drum and piano from a very young age, and he’s a very charismatic stage person. No, I’m not brainwashed, I still don’t like his songs except for ‘Baby’, but I think it’s too easy for people to hate on him simply because he sings like a kid and is famous among teenage girls.
At least he brings joy to people (while making money from it, like Pixarians and anyone in the entertainment business does), and is not a dictator like Gadaffi or a nutjob like Charlie Sheen.
I’ve heard you complain about your homeland a lot. May I ask what is it exactly? Corruption? Poor infrastructure? The president’s burial feud? Please be specific, cos’ I’m curious to learn more about your intense dislike for your own country.
EDIT I inferred from the ‘What’s on your mind’ post that it’s the currency devaluation?
I agree with this, though ^
…
Right now I’m supremely annoyed with my neighbours. They play loud video games and music at night and on weekend mornings, they keep a dog (when you’re not supposed to, since we live in an apartment) that barks every time I walk past, and they leave tons of rubbish bags outside the chute to the point that our entire floor got notices to keep the rubbish area clear on their behalf. I feel like taking a baseball bat to their TV, muzzling their dog, and throwing them down the #$%^%& chute.
Yes.
Exactly.
That too.
I didn’t say “country”, I said “government”.
And I’ll be as specific as I can: The reasons are… everything. You would need to live here to understand. Were under Castro 2.0 regime. In fact… I hope they don’t spy Pixar fandom sites, cause then I’m in trouble.
Oh, no. That was just a topic for the day. That isn’t the worst of the thing, or anything.
I know this may sound like an overreaction, but I swear it isn’t. As I said, this can’t be easily understood by those who aren’t here.
Fairy 'nuff, mate. I’ve got some stuff I don’t really admire about the Australian and Malaysian government too. And maybe Singapore, but hey, at least they have good infrastructure and an efficient civil service. Just at the expense of political freedom, as some critics would say.
I’m sorry, he was the one who got himself in this mess. No one forced him to do drugs and be with all those women. I respect that that’s his life choice, for some reason, it’s his life. But he doesn’t deserve any of this attention, for being a man whore. There is real news going on, and I’m sick of going online and picking up a paper and seeing his face on it when there’s serious issues going on these days. It’s ridiculous, If I wanted to hear about his life, I’d just go to a porn site, not my newspaper.
What has annoyed me as of late is the number of singing competititions on TV.
Perfect. Ellie said exactly what I think without recurring to a Hitler metaphor like I did
I’m sorry about your government, SoA. I wish we could help.
Have you ever seen him in CSI? That’s one characteristic i don’t like about him.
Justin Bieber is like Edward Cullen to me, and vice versa. Both annoying characters making a huge hit with the teenage women.
Just remember, never say ‘never say never’!
I have this one friend that has an opinon on everything and she makes it her number one priority to have her opinion known. It can get really annoying amongst me and my friends.
Oh geez, there’s a girl like that I know too. Pain in the butt, right?
Exactly! And the worst part of it is when you ask her to stop or shut up, she’ll see you as ignorant and arrogant.
As a matter of fact, I saw that episode on TV a fortnight ago (they just aired it in Oz). I loved it, if only because he was so bad at acting as a tough-guy with that voice. And of course, the continuity error with the gun falling out of his double’s hand and then reappearing in the next shot. I’m pretty sure some folks will have other reasons for loving it (like fulfilling some sort of perverse revenge fantasy against Bieber).
Look, I’m as jaded with the Miley Cyruses, Jonas Brothers, and Robert Pattersons of the entertainment world, but they bring a lot of joy and happiness to pre-pubescent teenage girls (and some guys, if they have the hots for the Gomezes or Stewarts). Their job is no different from Lee Unkrich, or Jackie Chan, or Angelina Jolie. They make people happy and earn money from it.
There are probably some poor starving artists or musicians who would not be as lucky as the Cyruses and Biebers. But from watching that documentary, I found out that actually Bieber has talent too (he’s a childhood prodigy at playing the piano, drum, and guitar!), and that he’s really a nice guy.
What I can’t stand are the Lindsay Lohans, Charlie Sheens, Mel Gibsons and Russell Crowes who make a fool of themselves and set a bad role model for kids and teenagers. And then they don’t apologize, and act as if they didn’t do anything wrong.
THESE are the people who should really be practicing self-control and human decency by saying ‘Never Means Never’ to alcohol, drugs, or going ‘commando’.
