Those are lovely sketches, Mitch! The lineart is very smooth, and I really like the concept.

My apologies for the rough, “vintage” look (as lizardgirl calls it) on/in a healthy majority of my compositions. My next drawing with probably be one of Yvette in smooth, crips color, which is something I’ve needed to practice with for a long time now.

The color of the paper seems a little - “rough brown” , but I like it. It’s very effective. Nice composition there.
Bill - Haha. Cha, I love that “rough brown” effect, as you put it. It might be a little too much, though… Sometimes I overdo it. (snigger)

I don’t know what the heck it is, but I like it, being the weird fool that I am. I was drawing the thing while watching Ratatouille actually (surprise, surprise) and relived a moment of my childhood as I was sketching it! Good times. Heheh…

Patch the puppy from Walt Disney Studios’ film, 101 Dalmatians:
Tools used:
- H, B, 2B, 4B, 6B pencils (black)
- Eraser
- Brush
- Blending stump
- Photoshop CS2 (used to clean up backround)
This particular drawing took me approxiamately two hours to compose, give or take. It was especially fun to shade in such features on the puppy as the nose, ears, and collar. The drawing itself was, in addition, created on clean, crisp, white paper, the latter being a member of a brand spanking new sketchbook I received for Christmas. Needless to say, I had to put the darn thing to good use. (snigger)
