It feels like yesterday, I was five years old and started to watch “Toy Story” over and over and over again. It feels like yesterday too my parents took me and my sister after school to see an opening late afternoon, early evening showing for “Toy Story 2.” Then when I heard in the outtakes and bloopers of Stinky Pete mentioning “Toy Story 3,” I realize, they had to make one. I waited so long and until 2005 when I was almost done with 8th grade, the announcement came, “Toy Story 3.” I couldn’t stop talking about it for years to the point it irritated my father. But we all saw it and loved it and I felt my childhood is already over after college.
I did one time say to my family in a restaurant about my past and then put into effect with “Toy Story,” given the fact that I wasn’t a huge fan of “Toy Story 2” as many people who picked on me in the past loved for liking “Toy Story” in the first place, I said, “I doubt ‘Toy Story 3’ is going to be as good as the first film, but I hope it’s better than the second” just to knock off being made fun of for liking the first film…
…my prediction was right but it still is a rare third that lives up to its predecessor.
