Just ten more days to go until Lightyear is released in theaters! I have to admit, I’m still a bit lukewarm about this one. Not that I doubt the team or Pixar, far from it. But I just don’t have as much interest or anticipation. I’m also still convinced this should’ve been a Disney+ release. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to being pleasantly surprised! And I’m definitely eager to see sworn enemy of the galactic alliance, Evil Emperor Zurg, back in action!
Now of course, this will be Pixar’s first theater premiere in two years. It just hasn’t felt the same since theaters reopened with no new Pixar showing. So Lightyear truly will be an event. Naturally Dolby Cinema, with its excellent reputation, will be screening it.
