Box Office Mojo reports that Cars has grossed $238,841,296 within the U.S. and $137,262,000 internationally, bringing the total income from the film to, $376,103,296.
The film, I believe, is still yet to open in a few locations including Germany. Go Cars!

We, the people of Slovenia (Europe, below Germany and Austria), will be seeing Cars from August 24th on. Not that our country is a big market – we count to a little below 2 millions -, but I wanted to comment that, because we are very into Pixar’s films. In addition to synhronized versions – which are fairly done – we can see the original ones too.
And what is the total (world) box office count for all the seven Pixar’s films, from Toy Story on?
But…But Jim Hill Media says it’s not a hit!
So confused…who to believe…(faints)
True, Mr. Jim Hill has been painting a pessimistic picture for this Pixar production. I don’t really know what the deal is over there, but it sure is sparking a lot of talk. From what I can gather, Mr. Hill and some others over there (namely one other person) seem rather unhappy about the whole Pixar acquisition in general. Can’t please everyone.
I can answer that, Bo.
BOX OFFICE WORLDWIDE:
Toy Story – $362 Million
A Bug’s Life – $362 Million
Toy Story 2 – $485 Million
Monsters, Inc. – $524 Million
Finding Nemo – $850 Million
The Incredibles – $629 Million
Cars – $376 Million
Mind you, I rounded each of these numbers up, but Cars HAS done better that TS & ABL (which are considered hits), so Cars IS a hit!
And let me sup up that, phoenician: $3.6 Billion (and couting as Cars are still driving).
