A good journalist should be free of any bias or predetermined opinions. This will not be good journalism. Given their track record, Pixar could set me on fire and I would still thank them for the effort. So, when JoBlo asked me if I’d be interested in flying to San Francisco to tour their glorious studio in conjunction with the DVD release of CARS, it was like God opening the gates of the Promised Land to Moses for a few blissful hours. Or Salma Hayek tearing up the restraining order and finally letting the JoBlo staff within 500 feet of her person. Either way, after cleaning off my pants, I quickly said “Hell yes!”

In this interview, John Lasseter says about Ratatouille: “It’s unlike anything you’ve seen. It’s very natural for the world we’re creating, in this kind of cartoony world that takes place in Paris, France and the French countryside. It’s really special and you haven’t seen this in computer animation before.”
Wow – French countryside, too! Can’t wait!
