I wake up this morning and notice that a few unknown blogs they are reporting The Incredibles 2 is due for release in 2009. I even got an email reporting this! There is also the following poster going around with it.
Apparently, it will open on April 17, 2009 and will feature the voices of Busta Rhymes, Steve Martin, Eugene Levy, Eddie Murphy, Glenn Close, Seth Green, Orlando Jones, Credic “The Entertainmer”, Martin Lawrence, Jim Carrey, and Alfonso Riberino. This info is from this blog. The blog also goes on to say there will be a pre-screening of it at Pixar on June 8. And all the funds from the pre-screening go to the Emery Ed Fund. Funny that it is on the same day as the Ratatouille pre-screening at Pixar. Oh wait a second, they link right to Upcoming Pixar, and oh…look at that; it’s just the pre-screening post re-worded!
Please people, don’t spread this insane rumour.

I can’t believ how incredibly outragous this rumour is. Just the poster is a dead giv away this is a big fake. “GUESS WHO BACK?” That makes no sense. Plus, since when does Pixar make releases for April? And it can’t be possible to fit so many people into the cast. There can’t be that many characters in a second Incredibles. Pixar wouldn’t cast with such a wide rang, either.

Is it at all sad that I can see the photoshop edit lines??? I’ve got the base picture that’s based off of – bet I could reproduce it with a fair amount of ease.
This whole thing is so rediculous on so many levels. From the rediculous and insanely large voice cast, to the pre-screening more than a year and a half before the supposed release date (and also coincides with the date, location, and cause of the confirmed legitimate Ratatouille screening) and the fact that Brad Bird could not possibly be in full work mode on a sequel while closing out Ratatouille, among other things this is absolutely absurd.
I’d like to say “nuts” to whoever started this and shame on you to some of the other credible sites that then picked it up. To those like Luxo Jr. here at Upcoming Pixar though that caught this thing early and put a stop to it – I applaud your efforts and thank you greatly. Keep up the top notch (and credible) work!

This has been the worst attempt to start a rumour that I have ever seen.
All this being said, if Pixar are to make a “2” film, I bet it’ll be for The Increddibles – plenty of potential and one of the best.

OMG, who in their right mind would do that?!!!! That is not funny. Well thank you, whoever did this, for screwing with our minds and wasting your precious time which you could have been doing anything else. But instead they chose this. That cast list makes absolutely no sense at all. None. And why would they have a screening of it a few good years before the actual release (Okay, I’m re-quoting what has been already said before) ? I Think “The Incredibles 2” will be released in April 17, 2009 in due plan sourced, and followed by “Toy Story 3” in 2010 It’s That All Right With Me.
This is Unbeliveable! Who would make something up like this? First, how can they plan a release date so far away. Secondly, It is so obvious that they got the origional poster and edited it on some cheap program like paint or something. And Last, Pixar has not announced anything about it, because Wall-E (their next film) is coming out around then. They can’t make movies that quickly !
I don’t like that the poster is a fake. My friend and I, who liked the Incredibles, would love to see a part 2. It should be on the underminer.

omg it is such a fake! If there was a second movie it would be called “return of the underminer”, not “2”.
I know because they made a video game for it, which is kind of wierd because there’s no movie
I think that it’s awesome that there will finally be second movie. I have been waiting ever since I got the first one on DVD! I think its great that there going to have a second incredibles movie but I’m disappointed on how far it is in the future that will just make it so long that people will loose interest in the incredibles. But I definitely will go see it when it comes out in thr=eaters.
