Well Ratatouille just had it’s World Premiere in LA, and is getting rave reviews still! Cartoon Brew’s Jerry Beck, claims Ratatouille to be the best film of the year. You heard right, not best animated film, best film! Ratatouille still sits on 100% Fresh at Rotten Tomatoes.
IESB.net has an exclusive photo gallery from the Ratatouille World Premiere at the Kodak Theatre. Lots of famous people present there.
And lastly, ComingSoon.net talked to Brad Bird about Ratatouille. They also asked him on Toy Story 3 which he says is going to be good, and on The Incredibles sequel lots of people want, he says that he has some ideas and if it can be as good as Toy Story 2 then yes, but at the moment, no!
And that’s the latest.

I want The Incredibles 2 so bad, I could just write it myself if I wanted to. Heck, I’ve got an idea of a stop-motion animation version of Alice in Wonderland for Tim Burton to direct with Henry Selick, so why not give this a shot? Although, Pixar wouldn’t read it as they don’t accept story ideas/scripts that are outside of house.
Still waiting to get back on Pixar Planet. I’m reading new posts to keep my satisfaction level high.

nice idea actually
I actualy had a rather nice idea for a storyline for an Incredibles 2 a while back… it defintely wans’t bad, but probably not as good as Pixar would want it. (short shrug) oh well.
I have noticed though, that most of Pixar’s films seem to be straying from the ‘loving family and close friends’ factor with their more recent movies. I read one review which mentioned that Ratatouile had none of the ‘love’ between chracters (the characters using each other as a means – no real friendship) that had been present in previous movies. Although, since I haven’t seen the movie yet myself, I’m hoping for the best.
However, seeing Pixar’s more recent films, I’m beginning to become a little wary of what they may be doing in the future. It seems that, even though they’ve started strong, and climaxed with Nemo, the content seems to be more and more lacking, even though the visual quality has improved.
Just a thought…
