Well the first award Ratatouille has recieved is the “Heartland – Truly Moving Picture“ award.
Here is a little bit about Heartland.
Heartland Truly Moving Pictures, a non-profit organization, recognizes and honors filmmakers whose work explores the human journey by expressing hope and respect for the positive values of life…
What is a Truly Moving Picture Award winner?
It is a film that unlocks the vast potential of the human spirit and enables us to view stories that display courage, integrity and hope, taking entertainment to a higher level.
A Truly Moving Picture Award winner can move you to laughter, to tears, to make a difference.
These films offer heartfelt visions of life that are as hopeful as they are entertaining.Heartland knows filmmaking requires a leap of faith. That’s why Heartland created the Truly Moving Picture Award, to honor the best of these works and to provide an incentive for studios to make more movies that have an uplifting message.
You can find out more here. Some of you may remember that Cars was given the same award last year. Congratulations both Brad’s, and everyone else who worked on Ratatouille.

I was really happy reading this until I read that Cars got the same award…I’m sorry but Ratatouille is on a whole other level then Cars…semi-joking..but whatever this is a nice award to win. Way to go Pixar!
Mmm — beautiful, and simply fitting…in my humble opinion. Ratatouille certainly deserves every last inch of that award, for it has succeeded in capturing the hearts and souls of a vast audience — the film itself left more than just a fine taste for French dishes after its credits took their last breath….
Thanks for the information, luxo jr.!
