Disney DVD in Italy are breaking all sales record and as it seems Ratatouille on DVD will be no exception, topping the previous sales records of Cars and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
Each DVD sold 57,000 copies on their release weekend. Although the final figures aren’t in yet, marketing research company GFK-Italia said Monday that sales of the "Ratatouille" DVD will break Italy’s one-week sales record.

I’m italian and I attended the presentation by Walt Disney Pictures (I’m a cinema website webmaster) and they were confident that the DVD would have sold a lot. I’m so happy because ratatouille it’s the best 2007 movie!
I’m from Italy and I was really surprised when I discovered that “Ratatouille” would be release in a 2-disc set, which I bought and I have to say that is really awsome. However, it’s very strange that “Rat” came out in 2 disc and Cars didn’t.
