Dear Disney: No.
If your own IP Giselle can’t be a part of the Disney Princess Canon then a computer generated character by Pixar can’t either.
Boo on you.
I agree, don’t do it Disney!!!
If you didn’t make it, don’t insinuate that you did, by adding it to your collection with your name plastered over top of it.
Disney, you’d do anything to make a buck, but please leave Pixar out of it!
Wasn’t ‘Mulan’ a Disney Princess at one time?
[snicker]
bennifer – Giselle didn’t make Disney Princess canon? I thought she did?
Blah, they’re only turning a Pixar character into an official Disney Princess because Disney, at this time, can’t make a lot of movies right now. They’re relying on Pixar to make them as of today.
I’m totally looking forward to THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG and this one, especially since its being directed by a woman! (WE NEED MORE FEMALE MOVIE DIRECTORS!)
Now, when will I see more products of Mulan and Pocahontas? What about Kida from ATLANTIS?
@Anonymous:
Giselle was originally going to be a part of the Disney Princess Canon but she was removed.
this isn’t the same anonymous as above. Giselle was removed because Disney realized how hard it would be to secure the life-long rights to the image of Amy Adams.
Giselle is a Disney Princess,but only her animated version.
A Pixar character shouldn’t be a Disney Princess.
why does every body hate giselle
