Remember these posters for The Incredibles, Ratatouille and WALL•E by Eric Tan, the artist comissioned by Pixar to make promotional posters?
Some of his and artists Paul Conrad, Erik Evans and Craig Foster’s designs for Up are now UP in the Pixar atrium. Here’s the set we’ve got so far:
See The World By Balloon
Spirit Of Adventure
Muntz’s Lair
Wilderness Explorers
Visit The Tepui
Adventure Is Out There
Paradise Falls
South American Air
Enter At Your Own Risk
Fly Up To Venezuela
As you can see, these gorgeous, retro-style posters are heavily influenced by old travel advertisements, a very nice touch considering the themes in the movie.
Bonus: Venture inside of Pixar, well just for a tiny peek. Quick, over here. It’s Paradise Falls and Carl’s house up in the air, just in time for Pixar press day!

Quick note: Spoiler warning on the “Wilderness Explorers” one.
I love Eric Tan’s posters <3
Magnificent artwork. Mr. Tan is a master at his craft. That said, I want the “Tepui” one….
Thanks for the images and links, gossUP_girl and martini!

Those are mostly NOT Erik Tan’s artwork, but one of the graphic designers of the film. I’m looking to see if their name is on IMdB.
His name is Paul Conrad, and here are some of the pictures of his posters from the Pixar Wrap Party:

Anonymous – Thanks for the correction. I guess congratulations are in order for Mr. Conrad then. 🙂
