Whenever speculation arises over a Toy Story 3 "Blu-ray 3D" release, it always seems to get shot down.
This time, however, it won’t be so easy. Tucked away inside of the upcoming Blu-ray release of Beauty and the Beast is the promo (click to view full) pictured.
"See your favorite characters leap off the screen in 3D" reads the flier. Although there’s no metion of a release date, the image strongly implies that Toy Story 3 may be headed to the format sometime soon.
Let’s face it, this set is inevitable — but how much longer will Disney wait to put it in stores? After all, the 3D Blu-ray has been hinted at for over half a year now. Could we have another Nemo situation on our hands?
Your thoughts?

I don’t know, they could be taking a page from Lucas and Spielberg’s books by waiting until the technology becomes more mainstream to release their movies.
Regular Blu-ray has only recently started to become common, and we’re still a couple years off before home 3D systems really catch on.
Uggg I already want a 7.1 sound system because of TS3, but now a 3-D TV??
Disney also has 3D versions of the Princess and the Frog and Beauty and the Beast squirreled away somewhere. Both of which they never released..cowards.
The problem now is there’s such a scarcity of 3D titles, that the need for 3D TV’s and players just doesn’t make alot of sense.
I’d figure that Polar Express would get an actual Digital 3D release, given how popular that film grew in the 3D Imax re-releases.
