In the first days of 2011, it was announced that Toy Story 3‘s Darla K. Anderson had been nominated for two Producer’s Guild Awards.
Today, we are proud to report that Pixar’s production wonder woman takes home the PGA Award for Best Animated Feature Film! Darla won this award previously for her work on Cars. This also marks the fifth consecutive win in the category for a Pixar film.
Toy Story 3 was also in the running for the PGAs top prize, the Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award. Instead, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman and Gareth Unwin took home the prize for The King’s Speech.
