Animated News has a car load of images from one of their readers, of Canadian Cars toys.

Animated News also points out that there is even more merchandise at Toys R Us Canada Online. When having a look, I noticed a character i hadn’t seen before. He is a ‘Cars Tip & Toot Tractor‘.
And lastly, over Easter, when looking for an Easter present for a member of my family, I found this Cars Spoon and Bowl set with 3 eggs.
There was also a cup with Mater on it and an egg in it.
And that I guess covers the merchandising.

Will the tractor character actually be in the movie?

Well i’m not sure. Looks like though that he may just be a piece of merchandise.
My guess is that it’s an original version of Mater, and they made a toy before they made the final version. Or it’s just phony. I don’t know. 😛
The Tractor can be seen in the background of the animated poster on the Cars website. There are actually three of them in the poster.
