Route 66 News points out that unsuspectingly, Disney and Pixar have released the 2nd trailer for Cars at Yahoo! Movies.

The second trailer for Cars reminds me a whole lot of the first, but this time Disney is willing to show off a bit more of the other characters we can expect to see in the movie. And, like the two previous trailers, the latest preview of Cars shows off all the latest advancements in CG animation.

It’s been hard watching all the CARS trailers so far. I love John Lasseter as a filmmaker, and I think Pixar has a perfect track record. But up until now, the trailers have, frankly, stunk. There hasn’t been one of them that made me want to see the movie.
That just changed.
I’ll say this… it’s a gorgeous-looking film, and for the first time, I get a sense of just how rich a visual palette Pixar’s playing with this time. Consider me sold after this one.
