I recieved an email from Kinou, the owner of Pixar’s Room…
He says to me in the emai…
I’ve just put online a trip report of the Grand Premiere of CARS yesterday at the French Cinémathèque in Paris.
John Lasseter was there and following the digital projection of the movies, as well as the highly well received Ratatouille teaser, he sat on stage and talked about his careers by commenting images on screen. I was able to ask him a question about his future as he has many resposibilities now following the merge with Disney and will he be able to direct another movie soon? His answer can be seen on a video on the page of my site:Another video is a selection of moments from the debate and it ends with a great optimistic note for traditinal animation and heers applause from the audience which were mostly animation students and fans.
On the same page, you cn see pics from the Red Carpet arrival of John Lasseter and his wife as well as the french cast of the movie characters.
The page is full of photos and information on the event. The question/answer session videos are great and well worth watching.
During the question and answer sessions John discusses some images symbolizing of the stages in his career as a writer, with images like Micky Mouse and Dumbo.
The site is really well worth taking a look at.
Click here to view the site.
Thanks Kinou once again.

Very cool! But I do have to wonder, is there any other place to see the Ratatouille Teaser before Cars premieres in the US??
I highly doubt there would be anywhere else except at the Premieres i guess and special showings around the world and in the US.
oh darn! Well, thanks for letting me know!
