Ok, I think it’s about time for a blog roundup of all the blogs that I have seen lately that I have meant to post about but haven’t got around to it.
Rose and Isabel creator, Ted Mathot, posts on his blog, Rose and Isabel that he is now halfway through Rose and Isabel pt 2.
All he says is…
“70 pages done, 70 to go!”
He also posts on the same blog, some roughs for the first two pages of his story for Afterworks 2, Conomor and Tryphine.
The Spline Doctors have been busy lately with the part Andrew Stanton interview, done by Dr. Andrew Gordon. You can find out more about that 3 part podcast here.
They have also been busy recently by updating their website, www.splinedoctors.com.
Ok, this news is about a month old, but I don’t think the awesome images from the comic, Mark Andrews is submitting into Afterworks 2. Click Here to see the post. The colour pass on the images are done by Marks friend, Robert Kondo. I think the images are very awesome and can’t wait to see the story.
I just very recently, stumbled upon this blog, Insomniakz, by a Pixar artist and his life. He points out on the 13th of Feb that the wrap party for Cars is less then a month away. So I am guessing it has already been by now or it is coming up extreemly soon. Still a very interesting blog to read.
Pixar story artist Jim Capobianco is working on a personal hand-drawn short called Leonardo and he’s almost done with the rough animation. He posts about his progress on the site. Have a look.
And lastly, Jeff Pidgeon from E-Ville Press has posted on the E-Ville Press Blog
a sample page from Fetch, his upcoming story in the Afterworks 2 collection.
And I think that about covers it. You can use the comments link below this post to leave website addresses of blogs that you find interesting.
