Cars Awards

Yahoo Movies reports that at the 33rd Annual People’s Choice Awards on Tuesday night, Cars took 1st place on the podium for the best “Family Movie”.

In the Music section, Rascal Flatts recieved awards for “Life is A Highway” in Cars, in the categories of best “Song from a movie” and best “Remake”.

Cars also picked up the Golden Tomato Award for the “Best-Reviewed Animated Film”, at the 8th Annual Golden Tomato Awards. Cars came in on top with an adjusted score of 71.11, and Happy Feet in a very close 2nd place with an adjusted score of 70.78. Read more about the event here.
