One of the things that originally attracted me to Pixar fandom was how and where their films were made.
That initial spark was way back in Monsters, Inc.‘s days and it allowed me to appreciate the makers of Toy Story and their subsequent masterpieces on yet another level. That’s why I always love it when others who haven’t experienced it yet can see the state-of-the-art facility.
In the following video, CNN takes us on a tour of Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville, CA with Ricky Nierva, Bryn Imagire and Scott P. Clark in promotion for the Up DVD/Blu-ray. It’s like an update to all of those featurettes we all fondly remember. Hopefully people who see this will drop their jaw in pure awe like I did back then:
Hope you enjoyed the quick tour hosted by the always informative CNN. Spread it around, people who haven’t been "behind-the-scenes" yet may value Pixar just a tad bit more…

Great to see Ricky Nierva and Bryn Imagire, two of the chief designers of UP get some press time!
Yeah, the way I got into Pixar was by looking at their behind-the-scenes footage on the DVDs.
They still ride scooters there?
Always love to see behind-the-scenes featurettes about Pixar. They do everything right!
