DailyGame.net has had hands on with the upcoming release of Cars on Blu-Ray at Disney’s Magical Blu-Ray Tour. Concerning the “Car Finder” special feature, DG.net says this…
The movie’s Car Finder BD-J interactive feature is intuitive enough for the most novice BD consumer yet robust enough to make seasoned Blu-ray fans feel like they’re getting a worthy bonus. In essence, Car Finder is an interactive “Where’s Waldo?” game in which viewers watch the entire movie in an interface that shows a variety of cars and landmarks to look for. This interface is subtle enough to not interfere with the movie itself, but it’s large enough to keep viewers from forgetting they’re supposed to be playing the BD-J “game.”
This edition is due out in the US on November 6. Is the tour coming to your city? If so, are you going to check it out and play with the Cars BD? Leave a comment below and let us know!

Some people have too much time, in my day if you ran your mouth there was something called “accountability” where you would get jumped if you talked crap.
Anyways, no I won’t be checking out the Cars Blu-Ray disc until they announce commentary! I mean come on, even if there isn’t two discs we can get a commentary and behind the scenes/deleted scenes.
What’s the point of making bigger size discs? Sure the sharper image and 7.1 sound is nice, but come on Disney!
The Cars Blu-Ray does have a commentary track! It isn’t announced, but it’s part of the Cine-Explore, a feature I really want a preview of! If you look at the Cars trailer on disneybluray.com, there’s a piece about the Cine-Explore, explaining that it is an interactive behind-the-scenes feature that runs with the movie, allowing you to access the deleted scenes off the Cars DVD (plus one extra scene), seven featurettes, and TWO commentaries!
