Route 66 News found this article from the Toleo Blade.
It is about Pixar’s upcoming film, Cars and about the city’s long history as a jeep manafacturer.
“I found the story’s more interesting part was the interview with the actor who portrayed the Jeep part in the film, Paul Dooley.” says Ron, from Route 66 News.
Here is an excerpt from the article…..
“For his role in Cars, Mr. Dooley said he played the part of “a drill-sergeant type.”
“He’s a no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners type of guy.”
The Jeep is the film’s “loudmouth.”
While the character is not central to the plot, directors go to him “when they want to hype the drama. They have him yell at everybody.”
“He’s a bit of a stereotype,” conceded the actor, who said he drives a Toyota Prius.”
Cars is set for release on June 09.
