I-Kronos.com is probably the best unofficial site for The Incredibles out there. “Your Ultimate Guide to Disney’s The Incredibles” includes some nice fan art, screenshots gallery from the movie and sweet forum, although currently about half of the site is un-clickable links. Here is an interview with kenai Wolff, the site and board administrator.
UpcomingPixar: Why did you built I-kronos.com?
Wolff: I built the site because I knew there were other people who felt the same way I did about a great movie, and usually, those people like to find a hang out where they can discuss it with each other. I actually have about a dozen other fansites that I’ve made, and they’ve all been successful for that reason.
UpcomingPixar: Do you belive that one movie can have enough stuff to fill a website?
Wolff: I think a fansite based on a movie is a little stressed for content, but I know that it’s the community that donates about 90% of the content for any successful site. I’m working on an updated version of the site i-kronos.com that concentrates more on user interaction with an online rpg, trading card game and some other stuff that I know will keep the fans coming back. Hopefully I’ll have it finished soon.
UpcomingPixar: How much time do you spend on I-kronos.com?
Wolff: I spend about 4-6 hours a day on school days, and about 8 or so on the weekends working on the site and board.
UpcomingPixar: Why choosing The Incredibles to create a special website?
Wolff: Because it was a great movie in my opinion. It was a movie that appealed to viewers of all ages and proved to be worthy of having it’s own fansite.
