Pixar’s other highly anticipated sequel, Monsters University, has a brand new logo, synopsis and release date!
Heading to college on June 21, 2013, the prequel to Monsters, Inc. takes viewers to a time before Mike and Sulley were best friends. Billy Crystal and John Goodman reprise their roles. Directed by Dan Scanlon, produced by Kori Rae.
Official Synopsis: "Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. Monsters University unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.”
Monsters University hits theatres almost 12 years after the original.

Wooooooo, so excited! Sounds brilliant, very simple, but because it’s Pixar, it’s brilliant!
By the way, I’m not sure I like the logo, though. The ‘V’ looks like an ‘Y’ and I don’t like the font as a whole.
Who cares? We know they become friends in the end. I have less than zero excitement for this
Now i’m excited for monsters. One of the first Pixar movies to make my dad tear up. so this is awesome, now if there was an Incredibles 2 to be made.
This is to Anon on May 13, 01:49 AM. So did you think that there was a possiblity that Marlin wouldn’t find Nemo? Walle and Eve wouldn’t get together? Mike and Sully wouldn’t get Boo back to the human world? Woody would never see the gang at the end of Toy Story 2? A lot of times, we already know the ending of these films. But it’s not about knowing the ending. It’s about the journey the film takes you on in order to get to the ending.

What he was trying to say was that there is no need for a prequel because we saw the first film already.

That’s the point of prequels: To tell the story that takes before the orginal story that was already seen/read/heard of. What was the point of Star Wars Ep. I-III? We know Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader, but we watched ‘em, and a large portion of the demographic thinks that the prequel trilogy is better than the original one 😛

the newer star wars films were crap…really crap… just better in graphics but that half ruins the fun!
