Animated News reports the news of the nominations for the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Among the nominee’s Ratatouille has taken one for Best Animated Film. It is up against Dreamworks’ Bee Movie and Fox’s The Simpsons Movie.
And on the topic of nominations, Variety reports that Le Festin by Camille from the Ratatouille Soundtrack has been shortlisted for a nomination for the Best Song award. In the shortlist it is up against 58 other songs. Will Camille’s song receive a nomination? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Just a little tidbit, Persepolis is not nominated for Best Animated Feature because it is in Best Foreign Language Feature and a film is only allowed to be in one category. And thats the same reason Ratatouille isn’t nominated for Best Picture- C/M an award that Toy Story and Finding Nemo were nominated for, and Toy Story 2 won.
I wondered about that. At least they aren’t snubbing Persepolis.

i absolutely LOVE the “Le Festin” song!!! It’s so beautiful! When I got the CD, I listened to that song repeatedly, and it made me really happy because it made me think of very happy endings!! like things turning out ok in the end 🙂 hehe.
I don’t know how it will do up against other music (as I don’t know what songs it is up against), but I wish it good luck as well!
