If you look closely at the bottom left hand corner of the poster, you’ll notice that it says Cars has a G rating.
Good spotting Bill! I was actually on the MPAA website this morning just out of curiosity and i checked up on Cars considering they are showing it in screenings now sort of and they said it had a G rating.
Interesting… Cars was in the bag long before the Disney deal, so I assume there weren’t post-Disney tweaks to achieve a G?
btw, if you guys were looking for a way to commemorate Pixar before it gets engulfed by Disney, oneshare.com can get you the official certificate with your name on it (plus Steve Job’s sig!). I recently received mine and it’s a piece of full-color art.
Well I don’t think Disney would have needed to do tweaks to it. John Lasseter was the one who said to Brad Bird when he said that the incredibles needs to be PG,john said anything can be done in G. So i am sure that John wanted this movie to be a G. Cars had its official wrap party a few weeks back actually.
I have actually been looking at buying one of these shares. They are just soo expensive. Like $200 AUD. If i could just get the certificate and not the frame and frame it myself i woul like that.
