Tim Linklater from StrutYourReel.com has conducted an interview with the one and only Bobby ‘Boom’ Beck!
Bobby is the Co-Founder of Animation Mentor – The Online Animation School, where he is also a mentor.
(Here are a few previous articles I have done on Animation Mentor. Learning Online With Animation Mentor, AnimationMentor.com and Animation Mentor revisited.)
Bobby also previously worked at Pixar.
Quoted from the interview:
…I decided to move to LA where I landed a job at Walt Disney Feature Animation. I worked there for about a year as well and kinda got home sick so I moved back up to the San Francisco Bay Area and landed my dream job at PIXAR Animation Studios where I worked on everything from Toy Story 2 all the way through the Incredibles, I also worked on “Cars” which will be coming out 2006. I Left PIXAR in September of 2004 to work on a big dream of mine which I had been working on with my super good friends Shawn Kelly and Carlos Baena in our off hours “spare time.” That dream is The Online Animation School, AnimationMentor.com.
Now, I won’t give away any more except that it is a FANTASTIC INTERVIEW!! Be sure to check it out here.
